I was actually vacationing in NYC when this all went down, I was 11 and in Central Park after going to the Museum of Natural History when my dad pointed out that the building was surrounded with people and police and we looked closer and saw the guy climbing the tower. I was a kid and thought it was cool but couldn’t stay to watch since there was more to see in the city, and I forgot about the whole thing until recently, it’s a fun little story to tell that I was just some random kid who saw that in person when I was there for vacation, but definitely memorable after it popped back into my mind
