The Reality When Your Van Is Your Home

When your van is your home it is so very different than when your just taking a holiday or doing the whole of the state or country you live in, whether that be for a couple of months or even a couple of years.
The van is my home until l can no longer physically live this way and in saying that, there are many things that one has to consider. Financially and emotionally.
I explain some of this in the video.
Please leave a comment as to how you would consider life in a van, being your home and what your thoughts are.

I’ve lived in my rv for 4 years and until I feel comfortable I’m just going to be still and stay put, lol!!

Other than loneliness/anxiety, everything is fine if things go well, but if you have a car wreck, your vehicle breaks down, you become ill or incapacitated, or any other calamity, you are on your own with no one to turn to, no community support, nowhere to go. That is how people become _really_ homeless.

That's absolutely true, but some people have no other choice but to live in a van, if they can afford one. It's that or the street. Sometimes you have no choice but to live with the risks.

That is very true and certainly a fear one has. If l let that fear take over l would be in a different position right now. I hope the fears don’t come true .

@@AVanADogAndMyself We have a good system in Australia where there will always be a support team to rely on. Anything can happen to anyone as life is uncertain, so living in the moment is wise and there will always be abundance.

Good friends of mine, l didn’t mind and gave me time to get a few things done to the van. I did enjoy getting back into the van though come the time. 💜
