It’s makes it very hard when you have grandchildren who can be greatly affected and truly this is unfair to them in the end. Mostly l have distanced myself from my daughter, many years of troubles and suffering the effects of her bad choices. Hello Jane, I think we will never know the why, l ponder while gardening as well. Reappearing was more for her and nothing to do with your parents, another selfish act. We will learn or be open to learning till the day we die and lm just starting to learn the letting go and understanding how there are things we cannot change. Toxic people, especially families was not words to describe them for me, now I understand the definition of those words and wonder how or why they would want to be known for being this. I am so glad that I can distance myself from them and yes lm doing okay and learning to live with the Why. Would be lovely to have you join us but I understand it is difficult for some people. Van life is a great life especially if it is a choice one has made, rather then the forced decision but I will never complain about it for the freedom it does give me. Sorry for the late response, I have been busy all day in the garden, though l have a flu that has slowed me down for the past few days. It is really cold here, probably around 12c during the day and getting to 0 overnight, no wonder l have a flu lol 😂 I can’t wait for summer here again. I’m used to warmer weather coming from Queensland, being at the south end of Australia it is cooler here and stays cold for longer and summers are short. Triggers do come and go thankfully, like you, I don’t let them stop me from doing the things I enjoy. You have a good mantra 🕉️, we all need to have one.
