The white parts may be bitter, but they are very good for you. Has lots of fiber and some other kind of nutrient.

So it's the skin that makes it bitter. Someone gave me a bag full off of their tree. They are sweet with a bitter aftertaste. I made a smoothie and mix it with mango that helped. I just peeled all of them and threw them in the freezer can't eat that often but I know they are good for you. I will try your method thanks. I hate throwing away food.

@@impachoblue1301 put salt on it instead of sugar. The salt removes the bitter taste instead of just masking it like sugar.

grape fruit is bitter because of the membrane even though membrane has most of the nutrients, but if you manage to remove the membrane like shown in the video then you can eat it mostly without bitterness, or just suck the juice out like a vampire without eating the membrane
