thank you Alexis also for the sweet words about learning. I worked hard to get where I am which is not as far as I hoped lol, but still motivated for both ends of the story actually. I just believe that if we could sit together and say out loud what we both find to difficult to say (shame failure...) I can handle whatever weird situation I have to adapt to my mom never lived together and she is in a committed relation for 21 years so whatever works. Just need that feeling of connection and being a team still, he was once my best friend... it's a risk I know. it's mostly me he knew, as a friend that it was not just candyland. still he tried. so i keep working. I do love to learn just anything actually. he actually says he misses me. and that ofcourse we are maybe not compatible or that he is not a person for relationships. he calls me everyday. but in behavior he stays away. i'm a single mom daughter 8y and we did things together and everything. so i guess that plays a part in to come closer or not cause she was hurt also when he left. he already is such a silent introverted avoidant person. i'm afraid he won't dare to come closer than this. the calling, texting and actually trying to plan my birthday (in 2 months). don't want to be to clingy but also don't want to wait to long or just for nothing because he wants me to do something maybe. don't know

Months back, my ex asked me to block him. I think he didn't want to experience further guilt from being the dumper. I disagreed with his decision, but I only agreed to block him because that's what he needed emotionally at the time.

Dear Alexis, I want to reply on the block. I do not have social media really, besides WhatsApp. Not even 2 months into our break-up, he on one Sunday, blocked my entire family, all of my family members and my friends he met and myself, on that same Sunday. Everyone was so shocked that he took such a drastic and ruthless decision as some of the people were still in contact with him. He broke up after our 9 month relationship, living at my house, having plans te get married and looking for a house together at that stage after his divorce was finalized. It was also not even 2 months after the break-up and he posted him and his new girlfriend on Facebook (a friend showed me), status saying "In a Relationship". He shattered me completely.
