Part of it is plain racism. Al Capone generated interest because he was white. White people weren't supposed to be criminals. But a guy from Puerto Rico? He wasn't white, so his criminal behavior was believed to be so typical, so normal that it would never have made the American newspapers.

Fascinating story about a horrible person. A real desperado, too. I saw the posted of one my favorite noir films: "Angels with Dirty Faces..." Sadly, in order to avoid Rocky's fate, Antonia Correa Cotto chose to die in a standoff. Thank you, BC. Wonderful research and execution as usual🤩

Had a moment of panic when the new episode wasn't up at the usual time, then I realized that the time changed. Every year I spend the week around the time changes thinking about moving to a state that doesn't participate. Thanks for the newest case. @@nicolad8822 I suppose it might seem that way, and I don't sit waiting on it, but I am a big fan of this show, know that new episodes come out at 6am in my time zone, and have been watching weekly for years on Monday mornings after my child gets on the bus. It's already up when I come to see it, but not when the time moves forward by an hour. There is a bit of disappointment for the episode not being there, but I'm an anxious person and I instantly wonder if the lovely fellow who makes the videos is okay. He's very reliable, lol. I do understand that it may be weird as well, but I'm often weird, so I just go with it😉

Wow! I'd never heard of Antonion Correa Cotto. I thought at the beginning this would be about a poor man wanting wealth but it quickly turned into a horror story. The man was an absolute monster. My late Mother told us his story when we were children im now 52 years old she was born in 1931 and she knew of him she told us that it was his Mother who knew were he was and would take food to him late at night she would not say where he was but one night she was followed and they heard her calling out to him and he would emerge from the maze of sugar cane fields to collect his food and see his mother this was going on for months they sacrifice the sugar cane fields to get him they tried to get him by going into the field but he disappeared so the owener of the sugar fields gave permission to burn it all in order to put a end to his crimes im sure he must have gotten the reward money 💰 i never knew how infamous he was My mother said he was burnt to a crisp and they could hear his cries thrugh flames he was in the center of the field they burn all around so he couldn't escape They positively identified him with a ring he always wore Thank you Brief Case ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This dude's warped mindset is the problem with a lot of ppl.......they're jealous of others.......so instead of working hard and earning success, they take it from those BETTER THAN THEM, that have earned it, and expect it will all work out. Evil is always found out, sooner or later. So sad the "darkness" within them flows through the veins of so many still, unable to make something of themselves, just leaving victims in their wake.

Dude you have the best channel on KZfaq. Hands down by far. Your videos are very interesting, and not only do you cover the crime, but you give us a brief history pf places and their living conditions and such. You've mastered the video length constraint with attention span of the human mind. Your stories are the perfect length. You have the perfect voice and tone. A perfect match to your videos. I recommend your site to lots of folks. Awesome work dude. I'm not lying about the best. Most of the videos are garbage and have no value. I learn about different places in the world from you. You did a couple that hit home for me. I live in Richmond Virginia, and you did one about the area and I learned history about my own town. The same with the video on the lady in Iceland. I lived there a long time ago. Very cool. Thank you for such great videos.

A true Rambo. This man is even worse than Joaquin Murietta, a violent 1840s Mexican bandit who viciously and surreptitiously murdered those who offended him, as those familiar with California history can tell you. I say he's even worse because there doesn't seem to be a reason for his defiance against society nor for his mayhem against random individuals. With Joaquin, you could understand his reasons. However, both were the same in that they got everybody's attention (maybe that was his reason, to achieve notoriety) and both were very violent individuals. Also, they both met with violent ends.
