I truly think the foster mother is at fault for a lot of the issues with Jupiter. Speaking from my experience growing up as an autistic individual, my parents helped me a lot in finding out what is best for me, but I was never babied. Aside from being in a special needs class most of my time in school I was raised like any other child, but the biggest difference between my parents his is that when I had to be held accountable, I was. Now I'm happy and well-liked by my friends and he's a miserable creep, so I think what I said definitely has some merit. Tldr; if your children do something wrong, don't just dismiss it.

On one hand I understand he has developmental issues both in biology and trauma, but on the other the evidence shows that he knows what he is doing is wrong and he does not care. I think at this point, he needs to be in a mental institution, and if he can make enough progress he can try a group home situation again. But that would take a very long time at this point.

Honestly, from day 1 i knew that jupiter was like that because a parent coddled him for his autism. The same exact thing happened to my cousin, though not to quite such an extreme degree. He was diagnosed with autism when he was a little kid, so of course, he cant be held responsible for his actions anymore. It's gotten to the point where hes assaulted school faculty as an adult and somehow managed to get off completely free. His grandmother who did all the coddling grew to be so terrified of him that she had to send him away. Just this christmas he was threatening me and telling me how he would kill me, but when I got up to defend myself, and especially when it came to blows, I ended up being the bad guy because hes autistic. However, my fanily can't even pull that card anymore because I was recently diagnosed with autism too, and I definitely don't act like that because it has nothing to do with autism.The single worst thing you can do to your child is not hold them accountable for their actions, because they will grow up to be a monster. You'll eventually get to a point where you can't handle what you've created, and the only thing you'll be able to do is watch as they do things like this. We're all essentially just waiting for my cousin to finally do the thing that won't get excused away for him, just like how we're all watching Jupiter
