@@Snow-ej5fm The one I have was like 15000yen, about 130USD, had to do some plumbing on my end but thats all it took, it has the regular ass wash and warm seats, it doesn't store warm water it has heaters hot enough that it will immediately create hot water for sanitary purposes. It'll work for like a decade or two so there is no sense not having it.

They're also surprisingly common in Argentina. I went there and was shocked seeing that there was room in my tiny apartment's even smaller closet bathroom for a bidet. There, it's even stranger seeing that there if you don't have a bidet, you're either dirt poor or just weird.

It's only really not common in countries that were British colonies and the reason why is because the bidet was invented by the French and we hated the French so much that we didn't catch onto the movement and called it dirty and unhygynic so we didn't use it and other countries we took over shared this mindset.

They're talking about the toilet seat/bidet combo not our separate bidets.

you just test it once to confirm yourself that the bidet is good at x power with one wipe, clean=bitet works

Why agreeing with Garnt - you wash your hand afterwards with soap and water and then think it's enough to "clean" that place that's way dirtier after you've gone to the toilet with a dry paper ? Kind of illogical. When I know I go somewhere without a bidet I carry flushable wet wipes with me.

We have toilette and bidet seperate. I reale wouldn't want to use a pide where the stream comes from downwards...so the poo spray of the guy used it before rests on the spray arm. With a normal mediteran style bidet the spray comes from front or back depending on the direction you are sitting. Also this is a western thing. Just some western Countries like the USA or UK don't have bidets...because who knows why?

That's why I always have wet toilet paper /flushable wipes in my car or on holidays in my luggage. Don't know if it is something you can buy in the US, but it's common here in germany, because bidets are rare. It's no bidet, but better than dry paper. I don't understand people like Garnt. You clean everything after it gets dirty with water and soap. You wash your hands with water and soap after going to the toilet but you "clean" the dirtiest place after going to the toilet with a dry paper and think that's clean ?

Nah... he's right. The toilet papers do disintegrate when it touch water. He's used to the hand held bidet which has more pressure and precision that the built in bidet. I personally doesn't mind both. I usually do wipe, bidet, wipe.
