The Quills are said to have direct contact with the Unum, they see all of the timelines and intervene when something bad is going to happen. So it makes me wonder why does the Quills decided that a new war and the destruction of Unum's tower - and consequently the Sentients consuming their so desired kuva - is a necessary fate. Excited to see what the future holds…

I feel like the corpus are going have a *really* bad time when the sentients show up considering the majority of their military force is robots and the sentients can just hijack that and use it against them

The story of the tenno and sentients is interesting: for both sides they each view themselves as the heroes.: The sentients originally protecting the Tau system so the orokin don't fuck it up like the Origin system and the tenno protecting the origin system from the invading sentients

I like the idea of a sentient ship invading deimos and fass and vome just blasting it to bits. Maybe that will be a future quest or something? To feed fass or vone something so they'll regenerate faster so they can sync attack a big sentient in deimos.

If you’re wondering about how the Unum falls, I would urge you to play the Profit taker bounties again. There’s a bit of a lose plot thread from there that I find very similar. A quill is somehow defeated in battle, and the gang conclude he must have saw it coming, and walked into his own demise on purpose. “Quills don’t make mistakes.” Perhaps the Unum knew that, somehow, in order for the tenno to ultimately win, she would have to sacrifice herself when the fighting starts.

The Plains Of Eidolon has actually been a former war zone. You don't see parts of one and the same Sentient scattered around there, but rather multiple dead Sentients. You can clearly see that there are dead Sentient carrier types everywhere and there are 2 Sentient ship types (similar to Hunhow). One in the lake, and the other one on top of a mountain. It is also literally said in the lore fragments that most Tenno left the Plains after the Old The War and only Gara stayed to guard the Unum, and then the collosal Sentient arrived, which is a clear indication that the Plains is a War zone which is logic that there already are many dead Sentient Plains before the soon to be Eidolon arrived. And I think you can definitely be right about the dead Sentient really far in the distance being the Sentient that Gara vanished. Especially since that one is SIGNIFICANTLY larger than even the regular Hunhow like Sentient ships that we see in the lake and on the mountain. However the Revanant Quests tells us that it was a Ropalolyst type? Which seems strange since the first New War trailer tells us that these are quite common?

Lets see what might happen: Parvos Granum: from the deadloock quest we hear that Parvos is keen on knowing what people desire but cant figure us out, he might help us in the war since we could use his help in exchange for giving him full control over the corpus board. Nef Anyo: Given his cowardly nature and the fact that he experimentet with sentient tech he will most likely join the sentients out of fear and profit, plus the orbmothers are sentient based maschiens and will certainly turn on him. The Queens: same as always but will rather focus on the sentients than us, they might be Orokin outcasts, for being twins, but orokin nontheless, they will protect every drop of Kuva they can. Infestation: hives will be mercilessly eradicated by the sentients and decrease in nummbers, the only good thing out of this war. Stalker and his acolytes: unlikely to show up but would be cool nontheless. Entrati: Calling every Necramech/infested they have at there disposal to deffend there home and the heart, we might find out what fathers "project" is. Man, so much stuff that could happen. This game has really come far and im happy to be on this journey

From what I understand the Sisters were designed to be an anti-sentient task force by Parvos. Also, when it come to Alad’s fleet being attacked, I thought he was having Veso turn off the auto control for the guns so the sentients couldn’t take control of them and turn their weapons against them.

interesting food for thought, i too thought it was interesting that cetus be their destination (apart from it being an existing tile/area) and to add to this the second unlocked concept art from the Quest to Conquer Cancer which was most likely not unlocked until a bit after you uploaded but most definately not revealed until well after you made this vid, it sheds a fair bit of light onto what the state/fate of the plains might be, when i saw it i did a double take at first then went to the plains to get a look at the same angle of the art, and what i saw doesnt spell fun times for us, the sentient bones on the plains are gone, which leads me to 2 possible reasons: (a) Erra's sentients are using the bones as recycled parts aka more sentients from old ones, or (b) Erra somehow has resurrected them meaning he could resurrect the Eidolon sentient and the could discover what the temple kuva does to them. either way i think the reason the unum's tower got damaged is that unlike back in the past, there was no tenno there with their frame like gara was, or that says something to the strength of the new sentients (and yes i do remember the poor rhino out on the plains (my poor boi, my precious boy) but he wasnt prepared the same way past gara was she had ample time as the other towers fell. also everyone seems to forget about ol papa sentient Hunhow i saw in a comment a mention about Stalker and his acolytes but nothing about Hunhow who the Stalker is presumably still in league with, since both are still alive, yes Hunhow is alive we never actually killed him, our last confrontation with him was during octavia's anthem in the weave, we repelled a version of his mind, his body still lives and if he planned a fake death to surprise attack the orokin i think he would take precautions before entering the weave, we seem to have almost forgot about Hunhow after we thought we killed him, maybe he is faking his death again because i sincerely doubt that he would sit idly by with whats been happening in the system or to his daughter. apologies for the massive message but i love the story and lore a lot so when i get going i just go for it, keep up the quality vids and lore speculation i love to hear it, TL/DR: New War concept art missing sentient bones on the plains and where Hunhow.

Honestly this got me thinking just a theory why the we the main tenno came late it seems at the new war it seems all sides are affected Grinner,corpus ,even Teshin himself which makes you think what about the tenno ? We could assume they are also attacked in areas such as relays ,dojo or even anywhere (SPACE)in the system completely unaware of the terror of the batch of the sentients from Tau system

As a post-update note, Deimos was unaffected due to its nature; it's literally covered in Infestation, the thing the Orokin made to fight the Sentients. It's like trying to conquer a planet where literally everything is made specifically to fight you; can't mentally take over Infested, they're a hive mind; develop new weaponry to fight them, and they evolve to counter it. Sentients may be threatening, but the Infested are far more dangerous

What are the odds that the reason the Unum didn't do anything is that we're gonna lose the New War. Then we might have to fight less as mercenaries and more as rebels.

I feel like any npcs that have big ties/knowledge of the void will probably be important allies in Duviri coming forward (especially the Entrati and Red Veil with the teachings learned from Rell). The sentients I feel are not the biggest threat, but the Man in the Wall is. Perhaps the Unuum sees this war as a necessity to help us stop whatever bigger threats may come our way, even if it means her own sacrifice. The sentients might even become allies after this (if Natah/Lotus brings them to our side) and could proves useful allies going forward given their special abilities to adapt quickly.

The possibility of Ballas and Erra alliance with some diferent purpose of the original sentient war is kinda reinforced by the absolute absence of mentions about hunhow (you know, the "sentient destroyer of worlds", one of the leaders if not THE leader of the sentient faction that mostly certainly did not die during octavia's quest), just showing him on a flashback siege of lua; whe Erra says to Natah that "mother is dead" but DE showed on a trailer in tennocon 2018 or 2019 that the first thing Natah did when she leaved in the sacrifice's quest ending was return to mother; and the already known off-place stuff surrounding Erra and Ballas...

Well, I go back to the gameplay of the new war. We see a disabled (or dead?) Rhino on the plains being spat on by Kahl. We see Teshin going into the sentient ship to disable the Orphix field. My guess ... the warframes are incapacitated by an upgraded orphix field and _can't_ actually come to help. The Tenno, as powerful as they are can't compare to the warframes and may have somehow been blocked from transference. That would explain why we don't see any nechromechs either. Maybe she _couldn't_ get any help. All that aside, maybe the Unum foresaw the destruction and went underground. We do see that _new_ area at the end of the trailer that looks like it was underground. My theory is that the _tower_ we see being destroyed is a mere _shell_ . I mean, the Unum has had years to plan for them coming.

Been patiently waiting to see a new vid from you. Glad you're still doing them. That being said, the destruction of the Unum Tower was both sad and disturbing. How would that affect the town, and how we enter the plains? The Unum should be able to see this coming. Could this just be a tease, like the Duviri Paradox?

What I'd love to know is what the Unum's relationship with Gara was. Considering the Unum has been referred to as "the one Gara loved most", as well as the dedication and loyalty Gara showed to her, it may have been romantic, but it could also be argued that it means the Unum was just at the top of her friends list.

It's most likely that Nihil will have no part in this quest whatsoever. It would be really convenient and make sense from what he might know, but getting his Oubliette isn't a required thing for all players to do, so it would lock some players from the quest if he were to be involved.

Oh I just had a really bad thought about Fortuna's fate... Sentients can hack and overtake machines, and pretty much every single man, woman, and child in Fortuna relies heavily on augmetics and even dull blown robot bodies... There is a very real chance that the Sentients are going to take over their machine bodies and either just make them kill themselves or use them as disposable cannonfodder. That is so dark, forcing us to cut down sobbing civilians and our very allies as their very bodies turn against them and drive them to their deaths by the will of soulless machines.

One thing i like to point out is that it is stated and shown that the unum does have the power to regrow and repair its self as the people of cetus to harvest flesh and part off it with seemingly no actual harm to the unum and we dont 100% know if the ship actually killed the tower or just badly damaged and the unum is able to eventually recover after the war

Maybe all factions will be forced to side with sentients and become changed like Ballas, Alad V does mention: " Look outisde! We're all about to be *under new management!* ".

Just a thought/theory but if you've gotten the storytelling item from the nights of naberus it speaks of a slave who pulled one over on three orokin. Could it be possible the said slave transfered her mind into the orokin tower somehow. I know it doesn't really explain the foresight ability but by headcannon is the through the used of kuva and the presumably numerous computers and sensors of orokin design it could provide an algorithm to create possible scenarios and work to make things happen a certain way. And for the towers destruction if transferring ones consciousness into the tower is possible so could the opposite be true. Food for thought methinks

From how little we know about the New War, we have two possibilities. 1- The Tenno makes a temporal truce with the Grineer and Corpus, specifically with Parvos; colaborating to destroy the Sentients. or, the more likely in my opinion. 2- Both Grineer and Corpus succumb to the Sentients and gets controlled by them, with the Tenno ending up fighting alone against the Sentients. Also, maybe this New War will show us something about the Tenno that we doesn't know. That room of the Zariman Ten Zero that DE showed in Tennocon is a bit... suspicious. Why show us that now?

With Nef Anyo being a devoted follower of the void, I would think that he would ally with the tenno.

i want the sentients to have a very staying presence after new war. same relevance as the grineer and corpus. maybe with a 3rd starchart steel path style with that fancy icon we see with the new war promo material. as well as a fomorian/razorback style recurring event with them continuing to try and harvest blue kuva from the unum. for how long its been i want to come out of this quest with more than just the caliban bp.

Glad to see that the Blue Kuva wasn't forgotten, in fact. The first time I heard of it was from Grandmothers story during Naborus which actually explains what it dose and was used for. So....*WHAT IF* the Blue Kuva still exists just like the Red cuva dose? If it did wouldn't it explain how we play as a Graneer trooper, Copus crewman, and Teshin? Also the Parvos Gran seems more pragmatic than even we give him credit. After his release he asks the question, "is there redemption for the origin system or should it be wiped clean?" Never stating who might decide that and possibly referencing the New War. The man has obviously seen the future trapped in perpetual time.

Could the unum saw that in other realities that if the tenno interfere the war is lost

Worst thing would be if the quest would bring all the answers to the lore along with an actual ending. After completion, it would bring you back to your previous progress, before the quest happened. This has been done in other games, although mostly in single player, story based ones. My guess is still that after completing the quest: the Orokin shall rule the galaxy ones more and introduces a new open world: Duviri Paradox. (operator access only)

I wonder if the orb mothers would betray the corpus because if you know the story of how they were created it tell you that they have sentient part in them

If I could guess why the unum gets destroyed is if I was to compare to another occurrence would be when the quill was killed on the villas on venus during the prophet taker. Maybe her death leads to a brighter outcome in the end. But that's my little theory

I dont think the Unum can literally see the future, its more like a supercomputer that predicts the future. Thats why the Quills gather information for it and its why she didnt know Eidolons love kuva.

I might be missing some bit of relevant lore, but I wonder how sure we are that the Unum IS the tower rather than just... connected to it and inside it *usually*. Might be another complex-nonindividual-organism relationship there like within the Second Dream. Meanwhile, every detail and personality trait revealed in the Deadlock Protocol definitely *spotlights* Parvos Granum as a Chekhov's Gun going forward. Even his parting message explicitly offers much more than a captura scene.

here's how I think things will happen: cetus gets fucked up but at the end they rebuild everything, we save the unum that is some kind of godlike cephalon. Corpus, Grineer and tenno team up to crush the sentients, alad V works as an spy. Ballas takes advantage and escapes to venus and starts to rebuild the orokin empire somehow (this is just an idea that I got when I saw fortuna with the orokin vibe). Also I just wanted to say that I would hate if veso, kahl-175 and teshin are like the new playable characters with their own system and missions. They are great for the new war but outside of that situation it would be awful. I mean, just look at railjack.

Even if the sentients invade Deimos, they would be face legions of Necramechs and Warframes in a all out fanatical defense of Deimos.

If you measure the Galleons or Obelisks in Railjack they are 4 km long. So the sentient Murex being this big is not that surprising. Also i want to see grineer and corpus capital ship in the atmosphere at least once. Even if its a crash landing.

Warframe has some amazing lore and even more amazing potential for growth of said lore. Best part about it is the MIGHTY SEER and I'm sure there will be a thanos snap moment when the MIGHTY SEER saves us all
