Snow White is by far the creepiest. A girl is about to get killed by her stepmom, the hunter spares her, and then she goes to a stranger's home?! and then the house owners are somehow fine with having someone trespass? the weirdest part is how Snow White falls in love with someone who kissed a 'dead' person...

lol Romeo and Juliete weren't in love, that was the whole point of play. Its about lust, prejudice, and young rebellion... Some scholars consider it a "love" story and other's don't, it really depends on your view of what love is -- this story runs pretty deep and is pretty damed layered--- it's timeless for a reason...

In defense of Disney (!), the story was written by Hans Christian Andersen (and is a lot darker). And Disney has worked on their female characters since.

In a lion pride there's usually one alpha male (Mufasa) and a shitload of lionesses who pretty much cater to his every whim and desire, which includes sex. Nala was part of Mufasa's pride and therefore it is very likely that she is Mufasa's daughter (we all know Scar didn't much care for the company of lionesses...if you know what I mean).

Actually, to make matters worse for Romeo & Juliet, Juliet "hath no seen the change of fourteen years," so she's 13, but Romeo's age is much more likely to be something between 18 to 23 years old. Men of the time tended to find wives around that time, while women tended to be married off at the same time.

what disney princesses have showed me (except for mulan and the recent ones) Snow white: if a member of your family wants to kill you, do not talk to the proper authorities (or your father, who happens to be the king of the land) instead run away and move in with strangers. Aurora: if you are pretty enough, you dont even have to be awake to find a man. Cinderella: outside apperance IS ALL THAT MATTERS Ariel: if daddy says you can see your boyfriend, run away, sell your soul to the devil, change the core of your being into something that he would like, and everything will somehow work out in your favor. Belle: verbal abuse and anger issues are fine if you think you can chamge him. also if he owns a big house full of servants. Jasmine: it doesnt matter of he lied to you to get your affection. forgive him when he tells the truth, he will OBVIOUSLY never do it again. Pocahontas: No matter how racist he is, all is well if he is blond

As a Colombian i grew with novelas it was like they were telling me that a happy love would never be achieved because they were so full of exagerated drama.
