Crusaders of the lost Mark is literally my favorite episode of this season. The music is fantastic and the emotions are on point( we made our mark literally almost makes me cry)and after so long The CMC finally have their cutie marks

Something interesting, out of the comics: Big Mac, while being just "yep" and "nope" outside, has all the complex thoughts inside. So i imagine how he felt when Apple Bloom asked if AJ is the best apple ever.

So bummed you were spoiled. This is one of those episodes that would have been infinitely times better if you hadn't known the outcome. 🥲 I was watching this show as the episodes were coming out, so it's almost like I didn't have the opportunity to be spoiled. Seeing this for the first time without knowing was SO HYPE.

These three becoming notable figures in their hometown. So happy for them. I LOVE the little detail of _Princess Luna_ showing up to see the photo. She was like their counselor in some parts so it made me so happy to see she was still invested in their cutie mark journey. I know why Celestia got the photo, given the CMC have also learned lessons, but Luna joining in added joy to my viewing experience.

I really like "Brotherhooves Social" We don't often get a chance to see Big Macintosh shine, but this episode more than does him justice. I also like that everyone recognized him immediately, but they were all willing to just go with it. "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" is one of the most pivotal episodes of the entire series for obvious reasons. It is a beautiful culmination to an arc that has been building since the first season. I'm also so happy that this happens in the middle of the series instead of waiting until the very end. The designs for the CMC marks are really clever. The shield shape seems to show up in marks that are related to helping or protecting others, like Shining Armor's mark. The background colors are a combination of the colors of their manes. The purple shape in each mark represents the three pony races: Scootaloo has a wing to represent pegasi, Apple Bloom has an apple to represent Earth ponies, and Sweetie Belle has a star to represent unicorns (stars often appear in marks for magic-based talents). The smaller pink shape represents the three of them as individuals: The lightning bolt represents Scootaloo's love of speed, the heart represents Apple Bloom's compassion, and the note represents Sweetie Belle's musicality. It's fantastic.

They have a stronger bond than Twilight and her Friends.

I do love how (almost) everyone instantly knew who Big Mac was and just thought "eh, I see the point. I guess we'll roll with it." It's a nice change from other cartoons where, even as bad as the male characters usually are at pretending, no one figures it out until the big reveal.

The fact that diamond tiara is introduced the same episode the CMC and then they get their cutie marks only after they also give her a redemption it's just amazing to me I love it so much. EVERY SONG IS THIS EPISODE IS A BANGER

Man hiatus times really add to the suspense of plot lines. Being a fan of a show as it’s airing hits different.

Its so funny seeing someone say "this ep always makes me cry" and at the end seeing them say "literally crying rn" LMAO

And here it is..... First we have what could so easily have been a cringy attempt at "Haha, dude in a dress!" humor, that ended up being an amazingly sweet, wholesome look at a character who we rarely get to truly understand what they are thinking about. No one mocks Big Mac or laughs at him, or treats him at all odd for dressing and acting like a mare, and what jokes or "Seriously?" he gets are entirely of the "You know you aren't fooling us, right?" type. Then we get that amazingly heartfelt scene between him and Applebloom at the end and it is just.... *Chef's kiss*. Especially love how despite all this, at no point does he ever seem to resent Applejack for any of this, he loves her just as much as Applebloom does... he just, wants to feel appreciated now and then too. So dang great. Then we have the big one.... hooves down one of only two contenders for "most beloved episode of the show". We finally see the end of one portion of the CMC's journey... in a way no one saw coming yet, is utterly brilliant. While also getting us to feel sorry for, understand, and ultimately cheer for Diamond Tiara of all Ponies. Yeah, one of the best episodes of the show.

The pony that I want to be was a huge turning point for me in life. I really had to sit back and reflect on myself and my views, so I guess in a way this episode was a real life moment for me.

That scene with Big Mac opening up to Apple Bloom has always been one of the most emotional scenes in the entire show for me TwT (also so how do we tell him that was Diamond Tiara's last speaking role and meaningful role of the entire show? ._.)

Congrats once Scoot, For you have witnessed one of the greatest moments of the CMC's arc the episode where they finally got their cutie marks! So many people were so proud of the CMC's they finally fulfilled their series long goal, Though I can remember some people thinking that season 5 was far too early in the series for the CMC's to get their cutie marks, At least in terms of character development. But I love the episode I even loved that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon finally reformed however they kinda just faded into the background after this episode. As for "Brotherhooves Social" I found it to be both weird and kinda touching at the same time. Because on the one hoof seeing Big Mac dressed in drag like Bugs Bunny was weird, But on the other hoof it was really sweet that Big Mac just wanted to spend time with Apple Bloom and wanted her to look up to him again.

OKOK HERES SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT EPISODE 18! these are mainly about lyric changes in the songs and honestly in my opinion make the songs more meaningful. but some are just interesting 1. in Pony I want to be, she was originally supposed to say when it showed her cutie mark "I have this mark on my flank that I don't understand, I thought that I had it all the whole world my command. No matter how hard I try it just all feels the same. I wanna feel others joy and not just ashamed" and then goes back to the chours and its pretty much the same as the original from there. 2. in Light of your cutie mark (the chase song) When diamond says "you don't understand the meaning of my fall. What my family would think if i ever fail at anything" she was originally supposed to say "What my family will do" 3. In we'll make our mark (reprise/ the last song in the episode) Rainbow dash was supposed to say "I'm so proud of you little sister" instead of "little buddy" These are from early demos of the songs which you can listen to just by searching the titles of the song + demo. A lot of early demos of MLP songs were uploaded by a youtube channel called "MLP Music Demos" Some of the demos are honestly better than the finals in the show.

Crusaders of the Lost Mark is easily among my top 5 favourite MLP episodes. I cried so much for them, especially when Applejack said their parents would be so proud of Applebloom. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. They worked so hard and they finally accomplished thir goal. I'm so happy and proud of them. I was so eager to se your reaction and it did not disappoint. Brotherhooves social is one of my favorite episodes. I've always related to Big Mac, but seeing someone who's usually quiet open up really hit me in the feels.

As my mother pointed out when we watched that episode, that dress that big mac wears is clearly in his size, so it doesn't belong to any of the other Apples, and he had the wig and the voice ready too

I don't think they're animated so maybe not for a react video sadly (I'd still watch it even just listening to the music tbh), but two of my favorite fan songs are about the CMC -- the first, Crusader (Are We There Yet), is about their Crusader adventures throughout the show, and the sequel Here We Are is about this episode and them finally having their cutie marks! My favorite part is that the VA for Applebloom actually sang in Here We Are. They're both by BlackGryp0n if you were interesting in checking them out at all.

As soon as they started singing in the FIRST minute, I knew it was about to be special, because the first instance we have of a song starting the episode is the season 3 finale, which was, y'know, pretty big. Oh, and then we get a casual 4 more stacked on top. I knew what was coming as soon as it hit the 3rd song.

The songs are beautiful, seeing them add more depth to diamond tiara's character was really smart, and seeing these three characters finally get what they were longing for just all added up to water works for me. The way "Crusaders of the lost mark" was constructed is truly genius in so many ways. Each of their marks shows off how they can help others explore different interests, sweetie bell has a music note with a star to show liberal arts like acting, singing, and dancing. Scoot has a bolt for sports and daredevil stuff, and apple bloom has a heart for emotional connections and stuff.

A good episode followed by what I consider the best episode in the entire show, openings and finale's included. Not to mention a great reaction. Shame that you got spoiled but even after knowing what is going to happen crusaders of the lost mark remains the best episode in the series. Don't worry though. The second best episode is yet to come. So you have plenty left to look forward to.
