True. Tho, hope they do more research, or gett enough founding to expand the team. They do their best but sometimes you can see the only info their got is the same spew by mainstream media. Example: "Cuban protest" What no medium cover is there was a COUNTER protest to that one, 2-3 times bigger, and even fox news used footage of it while censuring the sign to promote the Pro US intervention one. Not onlythat, if you saw the first protest you would see a staggering amount of US memorabilia and flags, how this people get so manny of this stuff? In cuba no less. So several speculate was a paid protest to insite american support, which tracks with the SUPER coverage of the even by US news of any political interest. This fabrication of event is call "revoluvion color", meaning a fake revolution. Has the oportunity to talk with self proclaim cubans, wome even suplort it and say that "there is support for US intervention" but coudnt denie the second counter protest that only have cuban flags. For those thinking US really care about Cuban citicens let me remind you Puerto Rico is PART of US and is being left to rot. Not to mention that deslacified information of US in 60-70 directly show US authorize and encourages any type of action to take control of cuba, from shredding jts economy (the blockade) to cause instability adn hunger, to dirrect terrorist attacks, founding gangs and narcotrafic, torture, kidnaping, supression of media, direct military attacks public and cover ups, assasination attemps, etc. Yes, is unclacified, you can find it with the rest of US info, specially several before 80' but ss weekeleaks show, not all.

@@illpunchyouintheface9094 not necessarily, his stories covering Hong Kong and Myanmar were based off of accounts from citizens in the countries that the news team talked too. They probably have more sources like that but don’t mention them. Also I’m pretty sure all their official sources are linked in the description Edit: the sources aren’t linked in the description of this video which is odd but they were in older vids

Well, anyone that tries to "save him" themselves would completely be hypocrites; nobody wants to save someone that breaks into government computers to steal state secrets -it's just never something tolerable for any nation-state. Especially one that seems to avoid Russian state secrets like the plague and guns for only US state secrets. While the info was good to know, its obvious why Assange has no actual defenders; he's a traitor in their eyes, not a freedom fighter.

@@stephenjenkins7971Whether one believes Assange is a hero or a criminal is irrelevant. He’s an Australian citizen. If he’s going to be tried, it needs to be done at an Australian court. If he’s going to serve jail time, he needs to serve it in an Australian prison. If it was the other way around, the US would expect the same courtesy.

Wait, was omicron actually "coming out of South Africa", or was South Africa just where it was detected first (and once people knew what to look for, almost instantly there were signs of it all over the world)? South Africa seems to be doing a really good job at tracking the variants and giving that info promptly to the international community... and then kind of getting shafted for it by the very same international community.

The only complaint I had about this, frankly great episode, was that they didn't cover the South African Omicron bans, a topic I feel could have consequences in the future as researchers will be less willing to share information if they fear repercussions. Besides that, great episode, very informative about this month's news.

your show is amazing and i really love it to death i can only imagine how hard it is to produce such a series with youtube actively trying to fuck you over but there are some events i can't see how you manage to miss them although i think its more of you are unable for some reason or other able to cover(you can't do everything) for example although the new zealand tobaco ban is good news that such a product is finaly being banned but when you dont cover stuff like two major powers in africa nearly comming to all out war (algeria and morocco) i feel like its a shame i would really like to see a way for the viewers to submit news that they deem important even if i know that would only increase the workload or a series for the end of the year to recapitulate some of the major news you might have missed

I always love this series. I try to promote it on my baby 1.3k Twitter account most months. I was never so happy to see an ad until today when KZfaq put one right before your SurfShark promo. Is it possible your efforts talking to the actual Alphabet Mafia (as opposed to the LGBT+ community) actually paid off?? I thought about it and I actually did receive a separate alert beyond the live premiere one. I would be so bummed if we lost the signature text-to-speech News. I actually appreciate the world news angle I can't see in the US (at least not easily) and you and the team introduce me to topics that I don't even know about. While CNN continues its "breaking news" of the same thing every day there is real stuff happening around the world and we don't hear about it. I appreciate you all so much.

This series is how i keep up with the news. I dont regularly watch any other news coverage. The text to speech is easier to listen to, the jokes are funny and you move efficiently through topics. Its way more helpful than my local news station. I will endeavor to support this channel in whatever compacity i can for the coming year. It's sad to see this channel slowly dying due to youtube. Views are going from hundreds of thousands of views to just scraping past 10% of the subscriber base. Also, I would love to be a part of the channel, whether it be small voiceovers or something. It might if you were ignorant, but the reality on the ground is likes miles apart. Especially if you believe that the US "fucked everything up"; if anything the US was the only thing holding things together, funny enough. It's only after the US left that starvation became a real thing in the country, among other issues.

I have nothing but admiration and respect for people who serve, and some of my best friends and family members were or are active right now. But you can't tell me that we had any business in Vietnam for example, or that it was a wise decision to spend trillions of dollars in Afghanistan only to Irish exit 20 years later and leave in the middle of the night. @@actuallynotsteve Vietnam? Sure, I can agree with that; though back in the day with the theory of Communist Domino Effect it seemed reasonable for the time. Plus, you know; North Vietnam invaded the South -it wasn't just an internal thing. I'm sorry, but just because the ending went bad, that really doesn't mean the war shouldn't have happened. Afghanistan War was a just war in that the Taliban helped 9/11 occur and was thus a direct attack against the US. You can argue that there was no point to the sacrifices if the US just left; but that doesn't change that in many respects the war needed to happen. The one I find questionable is Iraq due to the circumstances surrounding the invasion. Also, this is all based on what we know *now.* It was impossible to tell in 2001. Finally; my point wasn't that the Afghanistan War wasn't a waste anyway -my point was against saying that Afghanistan was left worse by the US -which is literally untrue in almost every single way possible. Hell, saying the US lost to "people in caves" itself is a seriously questionable statement since the US was far more a security force than in an actual war. Most of the money went to helping Afghanistan; but the local authorities, even if they were infinitely better than the Taliban, was still a corrupt mess. So, TLDR; just dumbing things down seriously makes you look bad. It's like looking at the Cold War and just saying "haha USSR genocidal people dead". It misses a LOT of context.
