I so enjoy your in-depth storytelling of these strange and horrible events. As a small child, I believed that murders only happened in movies and in current times, thinking that days long ago people were kind, thoughtful and moral. Sadly, evil has always been with us and will always be, and Sadly, innocent people paid with their lives for others crimes. I’m sure it continues today. Modern technology will hopefully stand in the gap that no other innocent person stand trial for something that they didn’t do. Thank you sharing. 💙

Happy Anniversary!! 🎉 I'm sorry I only discovered you during lockdown, but I'm hooked now! 😊 I can't help you choose your favourite episode, but have you heard about the DNA testing done on Catherine Eddowes's shawl done in 2014 linking Aaon Kosminski to the crime scene? It's really interesting. They took DNA from a shall in a Jack the Ripper display, and compared it to a living family member of at least one of the suspects in the case and got a familial DNA match. I find all these crimes fascinating, especially those that happened, way back when. I love your program, thank you so much for the time and dedication you put in to each one.

I’ll only comment on the last story which I feel an innocent man went to prison for Cecille. The strange thing is that no one saw him and I believed he was a scapegoat and that’s very tragic not only because a 14-year-old child was killed in innocent man went to prison and died. There was no proof that he did it and the only thing they had for some flowers on her body and I think it was a shame that he was convicted over something so little. Congratulations on five successful years 👏. First one, I guess he had to kill his side piece. She talked to much when drunk. As soon as you involved another to help. That's when you mess up. Second, I don't think the wife had help. She hit her husband with an axe 🪓. The fireplace is right there. So, she probably Chopped up the body and just put them in the fireplace. Very easy to do. Third, so 19 years later a man kills a woman and confess to killing another 19 years earlier. Smh. He probably did kill the first girl. Insane. Everyone stay safe. ✌️ BC good stories.

I've lived in Burke Co all my life, and this is one of those stories that everyone knows. But I still wonder if Frankie actually killed him. I think it was her dad, and he let her hang for it. I might be underestimating her, but anything is possible. She got tired of getting beat all the time, so even though she was small, she could have snapped and murdered him, but I still lean more towards her dad. We'll never know for sure. This is Morris's mom but he passed away after being attacked by a coyote. He needed his leg amputated and I wasn't doing that to an outside cat. It would have make life more difficult.

I hold in extra contempt men who murder the mothers of their children. I hope there is an extra hell for them, too.
