For the last video of 2021 a group known as Brief Club have selected their Top 3 Brief Case Videos. I am not sure if everyone will agree with their choices but I hope you like them.

Case #2 floors me. The mom claims the neighbor hit her with a spade. But, when the husband arrives later, the door was jammed closed by the same spade. It took the neighbor AND the husband to get the door opened enough. My question is, no one seems to explain how the guy would have gotten out the house and still used said spade to jam the door…

Good point but there were other exits, windows etc, sometimes when the case is so old, its hard to get information on every scenario, thankyou so much for watching

@@BriefCaseOfficial yes, I thought of windows, French doors, back doors etc. Even though it would be unusual, it’s even possible there was more than one shovel. Occam’s Razor, and all that.

@@BriefCaseOfficial Wouldn't the "Man of the House" know about these "exits, windows etc."? I know pretty much every inch of my house and without my glasses I could be legally blind but I would still know them.

See I did not have a problem with the door being locked from the inside and the Spade holding the door shut because if somebody had come in and killed by two children and tried to murder me and I was not dead I certainly would not want him coming back so I definitely would have locked the door and held it closed anyway possible and that's where they found her she just did not have her story straight she should have said she locked it out of fear that he would come back but it's better than innocent man going to prison I just do not wish that on anyone or some innocent person being killed definitely not what I'm hoping to ever happen but I'm also not a fan of the death penalty or people doing the rest of their life in prison it's just Revenge it serves no purpose but revenge and hatred also is she wasn't so sloppy about her murders and crimes that other man might have been innocently put to death so I'm not into the death penalty for many reasons peace everyone be safe

The first case, would make an excellent horror movie. I don't think in the second case the woman was insane. She committed double murder, then tried to frame someone else for her crime. I don't believe the suicide attempt was at all genuine.

It’s chilling to think, in the middle story, Francisca was willing to send her innocent neighbor to his death (and nearly succeeded) when she knew she was guilty and immune to the death penalty. So many murderers are able to kill someone else, but can’t do it to themselves. Francisca was the Susan Smith of her day. Fascinating that she was the first convicted with fingerprint evidence. Those poor little children - RIP!

The story about Anna is one I remembered when you first told it. My ❤️ goes out to her because she told people she was happy but they didn't believe it. I struggled in the same situation. Even though I came from a well-heeled family and had a lot of money to be able to support myself I didn't feel like I could survive for some reason without this abusive human next to me. I struggled for many years and nearly all of my money besides a few hundred dollars disappeared at the hands of my ex. I look back and I think maybe I was just waiting for that day that he would finally spend all my money on women and drugs and I'd be able to go. I really can't explain why I stayed. To any woman out there. Please don't stay and if you need somebody to just talk to please let me know. ❤️

Hi really like your interesting cases and always follow them, this one had a particular resonance with me as back in the 1960's as a child I was taken to Madame Tussauds in London, and in the Chamber of Horrors was a cast of Marat in his bath taken by Madame Tussaud herself at the time, complete with knife in chest I think also a cast of Charlotte Cordey's head is held by the museum, I gather it is one of the oldest casts held by the museum. it was pretty gruesome and is still imprinted in my memory.

Looking back at your beginning, did you think that you would gather this community of crime investigation fanatics with your specific taste? IDK, but is great to see how many people enjoy (like me) your content. You help a lot of folks across the world and if you made a survey asking where are all from, you'll be surprised! you help me to relax and distract myself from my mental health conditions, also to sleep. In the second case, there is something that I find very interesting. He mentioned that there was an act where all men and women were treated equally. This was said when the father was going to take the children. But in contrast to that, when discussing the death penalty, he said that women were exempt from the death penalty even though Argentina had it. So that would mean that men and women were not treated equally. Just something that I found interesting.

We have a good one in France, Blanche Monnier. Sequestred by her own family in the family manor. There is a little wiki in english about it. But the french version is more complete. I think you will like it !

Oh heck, I usually am fine with the grossest, most horrible reports of crime scenes, but the mention of barnacles on the body really got to me! ETA, I really admire the passive aggressive detail of using the big rock that was supposed to keep Marie hidden in the depths, but didn’t as Edward’s tombstone

Only 7 people were in the Bastille when they raided it and among them was the Marquis De Sade his in laws put him there and he was on the platform for the blade to be executed but he gave a speech that set him free, I'm sure by now his in laws didn't exhale wrong around him.😳🥺🤯

Great :) My favorite of the two was the Argentine case and the third one because it actually predated the 1800s. Hopefully 2022 can see some of those Icelandic cases (or the Nicaraguan one) I emailed to you but as stated in the community post i'll watch any video of yours
