it's so comforting to see your family has each other's backs. i've been in tears these past couple nights thinking all about Lindy, Chris and Kamryn, almost to the point of grief doing things like checking what i was doing the day of the crash. my alcoholic dad died homeless in october that year, and though he never meant to, he taught me from a young age the destruction alcohol can cause in the wrong hands, and the knock-on effects it has. your openness about your loss has been therapeutic for me, as i'm sure it's been healing for you. you can never move on from such a loss, but you can live on in their name, and it's utterly inspiring to see you and your family doing that. i'm a month older than Lindy and i've never drank and have no desire to. hearing your story reaffirmed that for me. soon as i'm working again i will donate to your non-profit.

I feel the same exact way! I just lost my mom to alcoholism june 22nd. Once my grandpa passed away in ‘06 she started drinking.. but the last four years it was SO BAD. It completely overtook her. I cut contact in 2020, after begging and pleading with her to go to rehab or a psychiatrist and never thought she’d ever die.. I’m kind of naive like that. I’m still in shock over 2 months later, but thanking god she never got behind the wheel of a vehicle and hurt or killed anyone. I can not even imagine. Having an alcoholic parent is so complex and difficult. I hope you’re able to heal and find peace 🙏🏼❤️🥺

You could have hidden away and let the darkness in, but you have God and love in your hearts, it's so clear to see. The strength of your family is so beautiful and your wonderful siblings would be so proud that you have laughter and positivity in your home. What a testament to their lives, it is so humbling to see you did not let this tragedy break you. Keep spreading your message, your love, and your light. ❤️🕯️🙏😢

Beautiful family ! They are showing their strength, love and generosity by speaking out, sharing their siblings memories to everyone. Poor mom, being treated so badly by the postmaster and the coworker who needed time off to attend the children’s funeral service. The older children so caring and loving to each other. Katie, wow, you are amazing handling so much. Bless you all !

Your mom and father are very special people because they brought up such wonderful children, I have been watching most of your videos and it always tugs at my heart with great sadness, I even asked God if he could bless your mother and the kids with one more day with your three siblings from Heaven just one day so that you would know she would know and your father would know that they were all well and in great hands, I just wish the Lord would give that to your mother and father and to all the brothers and sisters and the grandkids I pray I keep praying and my heart Grieves with yours❤❤❤ 🙏 🙏 🙏P.S. it's amazing to me that your family shares their pain and grief with the world's it's heart-wrenching but also honors all three beautiful children thank you all for having the tough skin to do this and to share your pain with all of us I can assure you we feel it❤ God watch over you God heal you and God bless you

I so much enjoy getting to know you all. I'm ya'lls fan from SE Texas. I'm 61, white female, mom of a 37 yr old son and a 34 yr old daughter. I lost my Beloved husband. He was killed crossing a road way in 2011. We were married in 1982. The sorrow of losing him is still so hard. But my faith in Jesus has carried me every moment. Your whole family is so attractive. I love your accent! I've commented on other videos you have done. I said on one that I think you, Katy, look just like Kamryn. Really you all favor so much. I am truly sorry for the tragic loss of your beautiful loved ones. Their home going came too soon, but there is coming a day when you all will be reunited again . Rejoicing and sharing eternity together.♡☆♡ Much love to you all. Know that there are so many praying for ya'll. ♡♡☆♡♡

I'm so happy I started following you all because you really made me look at driving and everyday life so differently I'm so much more aware and careful when I drive and watching other drivers is so important too I literally can't get it out of my head and I'm grateful for that because it made me more aware. Dawn you have such beautiful children & the love they have for You it truly speaks volumes I'm so blessed to have came across your story because you're stuck with me now 😊 your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
