Is no one going to talk about the fact that in this video, at random times, there is suddenly a frame of Jevil spazzing out, and then disappearing and acting like it was never there? Funny thing is, throughout this entire video, I was switching tabs and playing video games, and almost every time I looked back to the video, a Jevil pops up, disappears, and I stare at the screen, waiting for it to come back for a minute or two, then go back to doing my thing. Then, when I clicked back, the same exact thing happened again. This happened like, more than three times. Too many, in my opinion. And I bet Tad designed it this way, the fucking shitlord.

Honestly I don't feel the same way about Undertale "punishing" the player for using its combat system. I think the Pacifist ending is fine, but I was pretty satisfied in my first playthrough just getting one of the normal endings. Asgore and Flowery are far more satisfying bosses than anything Pacifist has to offer.

I think Aleks' romhack theory is pretty sound, because of how Deltarune itself came out. Romhacks (at least from what I've seen) usually happen with little fanfare or sometimes even buildup. The creators just kind of put them out there. Plus, Deltarune is described as "a game for people who have beaten Undertale". Romhacks are usually made with the same kind of mindset. They're made specifically for people who have beaten the original game.

Late to the party but still a good analysis of deltarune. Hadn't figured out that Susie and Lancer where parallels in a way. Chapter 2 (its free) came out and it was some of the most fun I had with a new realse this year. The only thing you got right was that Noelle would have a larger role in this one. Also, nows there is a character who is litteraly a fursona

I realized how bullshit the genocide fights were when I fought undyne and then got frustrated to the point I cheated and downloaded a frame rate limiter to cut the game speed, and then realized how much inhuman reaction time you need to dodge the attacks perfectly.

Don't worry Tad, I was also confused about Alphys' gender when the first time I played the game. Her original design was male too, and it barely changed from there.

Toby "You'll have a bad time" Fox. I actually liked Deltarune more than Undertale weirdly because of the Final Fantasy styled rpg battling system. Some of the new characters are alright but I didn't like Susie that much....
