Hey guys. We finally got ourselves to see some Sakura cherry blossoms on Tokyo. Originally we wanted to buy some street food but unfortunately it was too crowded everywhere we went. So instead we picked up some food from the convenience store. Im the end, it was about going out to see the cherry blossoms so we still had a great time. We hope you guys enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed making it. Peace!

TabiEats I’ll be there next week, traveling from Seattle. Part of the plan is to go to Meiji and then Harajuku for lunch picnic at yoyogi and then desserts. I guess it will be crowded...

@@xcalibertrekker6693 FYI, it's not just Chris Broad's channel I watch, that has made aware the Family Mart fried chicken is amazing. Several other channels I watch, have also had this opinion, case in point being THIS CHANNEL. Also Kim Dao, Sharla in Japan(before she went vegan), Simon and Martina, and several others. Also, friends who actually live there. Also, this was an amused quip comment, no me trying to sound as though all I would eat is Family Mart fried chicken. I'm extremely well educated on Japan, and have a very intensive itinerary for when I get there, including time to just explore different areas. Bigger point, if YOU were just trying to be funny, it did not land well. And if you are sincerely attacking Chris's channel, I suggest you take a more educated look at the videos he has. Sorry if you were just trying to joke around, and my reply is "too aggressive", but I've followed Chris's channel since the beginning, and I do not stand down, when the content of someone I respect is attacked or belittled.

Kathleen Anne i think its a combination of both. Lots of people from China, Korea, Taiwan, HK and Southeast Asia come to Japan for Sakura season. Increasingly, you see many Westerners coming all the way to Japan for Hanami too. Will be even more crowded in 2020.

Shinjuku Gyoen is cheap at ¥500. When I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in NY to see the sakura, admission was $15 for adults and $8 for seniors. And you can't bring in any food or beverages. I even got scolded for picking up the blossoms that had fallen to the ground! Loved your picnic food esp the shimesaba and sanshoku dango.

Shinichi-san, how about Yakult to restore your good bacteria flora? You sounded a little winded while walking, so when you feel “off”, pls check your blood pressure. It can be either high or low. If dizzy, lay down and raise your legs above your heart. Perhaps drink more fluids too! If diarrhea from post antibiotics, You may take fiber to absorb the fluids. Make sure your electrolytes are in check also. Please, have a safe journey to HK and hopefully you can log many Tabieats episodes!!!

Anko is different than I was expecting. I had it for the first time recently it was koshian. I ordered it online with some mochi since i had never had the 2 together. I was expecting more flavor from it but it mostly tasted like kind of earthy sugar and it was far sweeter than I was expecting. Texture wise it reminded me of miso paste. I found it goes quite well with butter though and is an excellent topping for toast. It also goes surprisingly well with french toast a thin layer between two slices almost transforms it into a new dish.
