Cozy Corner is one of the most popular cake shops in Japan. The cakes that are sold here are considered everyday cakes so they are loved by young and old alike. Although they have other items like cream puffs, eclairs, cookies and pudding, we're sticking to cakes today.

Also, 9:25 "This one is decorated for Easter." I was like, "Really?! I thought it was decorated for udon..." You know, just because. Like how some people make their cakes look like cars or carrots or purses or whatever... Like, here's a cake that looks like a bowl of delicious noodles. Mmmm!

They do!! Anything in Japan in strawberries is an automatic win. If in Canada our convenience stores were as good, I'd be there all the time.

Very jealous as all those looked delicious. I miss cakes from Japan so much. So much better than cakes from North America imo. Cakes from Japan are less sweet and rich which allows you to eat a lot at once.

Your correct, there is a huge difference in the sweetness level. For example, I have eaten many donuts on my life, especially the old fashion with chocolate on top in California. The same donut here in Japan is way less sweeter. I guess that's just the way they make them.

They all looked good and I especially love strawberries. I guess that the strawberry one was based off of US “shortcake?” Classic strawberry shortcake is very different (and delicious); it’s not sponge at all, rather a scone-biscuit type dessert. I would like to see a video of y’all trying the Pierre Hermès desserts, Laduree, etc. Have a lovely weekend! ❤️

I love Japanese sweet especially the cakes with strawberry it's so good in Japan love the sweets and never amount of flavor you get in the state it's just like eating in sugar and I prefer to have like different tastes and flavors and not overpowered by sugar and the store that we went to in Japan I don't remember the name of it now since I was so young but it had a little girl character with her tongue sticking out at the side and I always called her milky I would love to see more cakes or sweet treats videos but if it's really expensive for you guys I wouldnt want you to waste your money and end up getting sick because of all the sweets but always love your videos😊

I'm going to Japan next month, will definitely try out this place! Looks really yummy! Your videos have really helped with planning some of my trip (going to Enoshima and Jindaiji for sure now!). And yes please do more cake videos...:)

My family actually ate Japanese style strawberry shortcake for ages. My dad first had it while on leave in Tokyo, and took the recipe home to my mom. My sister Christina had it for every birthday, and my cousin Marilyn had one as her first wedding cake.

Those looked amazing! If I could try them, I would try the yuzu/mikan cake and also the matcha adzuki cake. Yum! I think it would be fun to see more videos like this, but if these bakeries are expensive, maybe just get a few desserts to sample. Possibly you could combine it with a mini-travel vlog, showing us the trip to get there and the street scenes, if you need the video to be longer? I think a lot of us would like that. I love how they box it up and put a little dry ice pack to keep it cool. This really blew me away when I ordered some takeaway. The choux cream here is my favourite, even better than Hirota! You have to go jumbo size though hehehe.

It seems like the Japanese cakes that I purchase from Ala Moana is sweeter then the ones I’ve had in Japan. I guess I need to try cakes from a variety of places in Japan. Thank you for your video!

i want to try Theobroma. But on my recent trip to Japan, i dont think any of my friends wanted to go, and i doubt i can eat a single order by myself. Something I do love that I don't think you guys have covered yet is Honey Toast.
