That is awesome!! Personally, I don't think the bachelor's will increase your chances significantly. The great thing about our field is that college is not a necessity. You could think about taking boot camps or network specialized classes to save money and gain better experience. But I would never say a bachelor's is a waste 😁❤️

Routing issues aren't common to me. Only if anything changes or if something new needs to be added do I run into those. Occasionally every few months I'll get a routing issue same for acls.

Leases were an inherited issue from the previous server team. That's since been remedied. when you have sites surrounded by multiple businesses and other devices that cause interference, there's nothing that can be done short of a faraday cage. Lightning is an issue because each location is different. Not every site has a UPS and I don't have any control over grounding. There are numerous old locations, leased buildings, etc that do not have proper grounding and of they do that does not prevent lightning from hitting across Ethernet in lightning prone locations. All of what you say cost time and money and not everyone is lucky enough to have that. It's easy to say what could be done to remedy things. Without approval, budget, lack of preventative equipment, and standardization at 350+ locations Nationwide you can obviously run into problems you cant fix. It's not that simple

Let's also add user error because they like to disconnect things and not plug it into a UPS. 🤷🏽‍♀️ They don't listen and the only way I would know is if I happened to come across it randomly.

Certain updates can affect connectivity thus cause programs, equipment, or security suites to malfunction. Which can cause users to lose access to the network which is not uncommon.
