BTW, all that "life" stuff used to be taught in school back in the 70s and 80s. But then parents decided that school should only be for the basics and the rest of "life lessons" was up to the parents to teach. Personally, I think dads didn't like their boys learning how to sew, and moms didn't like their daughters learning how to fix cars. So silly. I'm 52, and I remember having your *exact* reaction to why I didn't anyone teach me how to manage my money?? I learned advanced algebra, but couldn't figure out how to deal with my credit cards. Yeah... they should be teaching this stuff in school. EDIT: This only applies to schools in the U.S.A. There are plenty of places around the world that teach their children how to *live*

When you repot your plants again, look out for root-bound plants, which means when the roots are in a tight ball wrapping inside the old pot. Gently tease out some of the roots, otherwise they can't make use of the new space. Do you use a plant mister? A cheap one is just as good as something in copper, even a cosmetics atomiser is OK, but as the temperature heats up, they'd appreciate it, and make sure they don't scorch in bright sunlight.. Most of the ones you have are for dappled shade, or even full shade. Hope you find this makes up for not being taught. Take care.

I like your comment about the weather being "back to normal" (cruddy). I know exactly what you mean and how you feel. It's been that way here in New Mexico for weeks on end. Get a nice day or two then: CLUNK! Right back to cloudy, windy, cold with more "snow showers". My neighbor and say we're waiting for the END of the ice age. Good luck with your new apartment! Hope you find one you really enjoy living in. I like a lot about you and your videos, but probably what I like the best is your consistently bright, cheery attitude about everything. I was hospitalized for a week with some pretty scary health issues in late February. I'm getting considerably better now. that monstera definitely needed to be repot! also those air roots it developed can be put in soil as well. It'll just become another stem over time and develop normal roots as well! That can be good if you want your plant to look more full and give it new opportunities to grow leaves :)

hey tristan! a little advice with your plants. you're gonna have to re-pot gunter cause you need to detangle his roots. he's really root bound rn and seeing as how you didn't detangle his roots before re-potting him he's gonna continue to be root bound. the best way you can detangle his roots is by running some cool water over them and gently breaking them free from the soil. hope this helps!

Ok Dude learning all of these things and about these situations is part of maturing as you learn about life's lessons. So much of it you just have to learn on your own....Potting plants, there are litertally hundreds of YT videos on how to do that. From that I see though that plant is root bound and the roots are wound around each other. That means you have to unwind some of them and take a pare of scissors and carefully cut out the dead or dying roots and then divide out the root system unto 3 or 4 clumps. You form a center mound of new soil into the new pot and place the divided roots on top of the new soil and do the fill in with more soil. Leaving the plant root bound in a circular knot does not promote new root growth. The plant will go into transplant shock for about a week and then recover. Do one thorough watering after the transplant then leave the soil to almost dry out, before watering again. Plants more often die or become diseased from over watering than under watering. Also trim out any excess leaves or foliage at the time of transplant to reshape your plant. If there are off shoots, now is the time to transplant them as well. Ja Ihr Deutsch ist viel mals verbessert gewesen, siet Ihr diese Sprache angefangen hat. Die umlautet Vokale, ä ,ö, und ü brauchen ein bißchen mehr mundliche art Zeit zu formulieren. Dann auch, "kn," knochen, Kneipe,, knusprich usw. "ch" wie: ich, ach, auch, lachen, machen usw. Obwohl im Süden Teil des Landes mann kann auch "sh" oder wie man "sch" benutzt, z.B. schon, schön, Schmalz, Schule. So lang Sie bei dieser Klasse teilhenmen, werden Sie eine grosse Hoffnung der deutschen Sprache erreichbar bestanden. Selsbt Geduld ist wichtig. Bis später!

I was also going to say that you should check out Brennan Clost from Tiny Little Dancer. I believe he is the one you were interested in from that series although he recently cut his hair. He still looks great. He has a YT channel that I am subscribed to. According to his channel, he lives in Toronto and has had some formal dance instruction through the Julliard School in New York. Hi Tristan, I think your monstera plant Gunther needs to be moved to a place with less sun exposure. The leaves tend to turn yellow when they're exposed to too much sun

For the German KN, try repeating English words like acne, black night, duck nuckles, picnic, and think of how and where your tongue hits your palate as you shift quickly from the k sound to the n sound. Then try replicating the same tongue/palate movements and sounds in German words beginning with kn like knecht, knaben and the others you're learning, first slowly, then speed up until you've got it. Think of it as practicing a ballet movement inside your mouth!😝👍😄

Heres a tip for repotting plants; always break the root before replanting, plants arent fragile all they need is dirt and water you can literally hack the bottom half of the root off and it will still grow
