FDC 4200 usually adheres permanently to glass doesn't it? Or did you use the removable 4300?
@TheRhinestoneWorld
@TheRhinestoneWorld 8 жыл бұрын
+Lara Allsopp When you are doing glass etching we highly recommend using permanent vinyl, the permanent vinyl adheres better and prevents air bubbles. if you are doing another project with a more delicate surface then the wall vinyl will work. TRW Casey

Why is the transfer tape necessary? Can you just peel off the vinyl and stick it on the glass?
@TheRhinestoneWorld
@TheRhinestoneWorld 8 жыл бұрын
+Roda Pernites The transfer tape helps when you have little pieces and insures that you apply the vinyl as lined up as possible. It also helps when you have a smaller design to make sure you get all the air bubbles out. TRW Erika

I scraped the excess back into the bottle & it got all chunky in the bottle afterwards. I don't do that anymore. So it's a "catch 22" in that aspect. That cream is so expensive a person is danged if they do & danged if they don't.
