This is by far the best machining video I have came a crossed. I program and run a large cnc milling machine and you can run parts I dream of running. My hats off to you. Im trying to index my 4th axis just as you do flawlessly. But I'm still quite a ways off. Bad ass work you do.

Fico muito feliz com suas palavras Renato.. Com a porcas em UHMW ou Teflon o backlash é minimo, de qualquer forma tudo pode ser compensado pelo programa, o resultado é perfeito com o recurso. This piece is used in CD / DVD car, (lock Panel) the original is plastic but they break easily. Now in aluminum is perfect and does not break never more. Thanks for watching the videos. Luiz

Hi, thanks for your question; My answer is not, because the part is not round. In this videos I use the radial cutting for gain time. In the final I do a turning operation in along longitudinal for finishing of the piece. Even if it is piece was round or spherical I would do that same thing. Regards from Brazil. Luiz Ally

Hello Luiz, I know this is an older video, but you mentioned a quick change system for the end mills on your sherline mill. How is that coming and are you going to do a video on it? I have a Taig and use end mill holders that I made using your design and it works well, but would like to have a true quick change on my mill. esse cara e top da usinagem eu trabalho com construçao civil sou da parte de acabamento e outros em geral e meu pai e empreitero e trabalho para ele e fiz curso de solda e logo depois fiz curso no senai de torneiro mecanico e vo faser de fresa e outro por que curto essa area tambem, e vendo os videos desse cara vei eu me inspiro cada dia e to montando uma mini oficina em casa ja tenhu varias ferramentas e vo compra meu torno e uma fresa de pequeno porte para que eu começe a faser ums artes ararararra ,sempre estou vendo seus videos e sempre que vc poder poe mais e mais videos estou aqui assistindo que para mim e gratificante ver um proficional que nem ele operando esses tipos de maquinas muito bacana parabens

I think I found my new favorite machining videos besides Hoss. What kind of parts do you make usually?

In continued work I've been doing one piece by five minutes an average. So with 3 mills and 3 lathes in use I can make even 30 pieces hour. It is tiring but I was determined to win some money with that. Thanks for the comment. Luiz

Love the videos, Luiz. I follow you on FaceBook, too. I would love to have a set of plans for the rotary table with collet closer. How are you creating your G-code? -Do you have any videos where you explain your coolant system? Is the coolant system re-cycling "TapMagic"? (Ok-saw this on another of Luiz's videos-Yes it is recycling). -or what is your cutting fluid? (OK, saw this in another video it appears that you are using a mixture of Oil & Kerosene for cutting aluminum) -Is that the 10,000 RPM pulley set up on the machine? Sorry for so many questions - just a great video

Eu só trabalho com micro usinagem, coisas minuscula, engrenagens de relógios e por ai a fora, mas tenho vontade de fazer um torno automático pra mim com pelo menos um metro pra facilitar algumas coisas que invento ou converter alguma máquina antiga pra CNC.
