For example, Boeser wants 10 million per year at 8 years and Laine wants 15 million per year at 8 years. Players who aren’t as good as Mitch are demanding such high amounts, therefore we should not be surprised Marner wants the absolute maximum as well.

What about 8.5 for Aho? Seriously though, I would take Aho for 11 over Marner for 9.5. Aho is twice the player he is. He pretty much carried Carolina to the conference final on his own. FFS look at who he was playing with! Nino who just isn't a first line forward in a play-off team and Williams who is fucking old as shit and it shows. Those two doubled their points just by playing with Aho. Aho goes against the opposition's top line day after day and pretty much outplays them every time. Aho's hockey IQ is off the charts.
