Title it as ' Flutter Tone Tuning ' I did the same thing recently and it comes down to. Length and diameter. The metal piping cant have any gaps with Silicone/rubber couplings otherwise it'll absorb the volume. Foam style filters is more absorbing than paper/cone styles. Despite, its a small difference as i experienced but I'll let you be the judge. Happy dosing!

Yeah, a sharp bend with a fast cutoff/no straight section before or after the bend will kill the dose. Long bends and/or a decent bit of straight before and after the bend are required for proper dose. Try a 3.5" titanium long sweep 90 or straight if you can.

On this video the housing is not anti surge. Bov is not used.

@@hpsfabwork oh i see.. that sounds on straight 3" alloy inspired me mybe nxt time i will work on my rb20det.. is it okay running without bov? Cause last time in runing stock 16v rb20s turbo without using bov.. my turbo lifetime getting short hahahah

@@jokerroo sure it is better for your turbo to use a bov. But or for me this little more abuse or stress for the Turbo is a price i can live with to enjoy alle these sounds !

Oh okay thank you i was just wondering cause i have a gtx3071r with anti surge housing and it doesnt flutter nearly as much as that even on 18psi. It has a 4 inch 45° alloy pipe with hks mushroom on it

I welded the anti surge grove and then mashing it to the right diameter on the lathe. What turbo do you have ?

@@hpsfabwork I seen those online but wasn’t sure about them. Did it sound similar? and did you also notice any improvement as far as the spool time? It’s kinda laggy on my sr and I’m looking for a slight upgrade in the power band.

@@hpsfabwork well ive seen 2" intakes on 300wkw cars and it didnt loose power. smaller makes the dose high pitch and lasts longer. I like the 3" straight in your vid
