There have been many stores told about Vince Russo and why he left TNA, but now hear it from the man himself. The entire story, and then make up your mind.. combined with that topic this week on Truth With Consequences, how did TNA get to 2 million viewers, and what the hell happened?

I agree with Russo about Pope. He should have been champion in 2010. I think the worst thing that TNA did was make AJ Styles a Ric Flair clone. It just didn't fit at all. Of course, that was a Hogan/Bischoff idea.

Heard Matt Koon's comment about the Young Bucks having the best selling shirt at Hot Topic and instantly called bullshit. So, I actually wasted about 10 minutes of my life and went to the official Hot Topic website and looked for myself. I searched for the best selling tee shirts and the Young Bucks weren't even in the first ten pages, much less top ten shirts. I stopped looking after ten pages. They're probably not even in the top 1,000 shirts at Hot Topic. In fact, none of the Bullet Club shirts were in the first ten pages of best sellers. Most people don't know who the Young Bucks are. They're not outselling DBZ or Rick and Morty shirts.

It’s unfortunate that Dixie Carter didn’t have the...whereabouts...to get shirts in Hot Topic

Matt Koon is a good interviewer, he doesn’t sound annoying like Conrad Thomson
@matthewsmith5374
@matthewsmith5374 10 ай бұрын
Conrad tends to hold his subject to account more than Matt when he thinks they’re lying. He seemed to walk on eggshells with Russo at times. Also Conrad is funnier.

The big difference is the WWE KZfaq page is the biggest most viewed one in North America and the third biggest in the entire world behind to India Company’s nobody was looking up Clips for TNA like that at all

Does he not realize everybody watches the clips on KZfaq and SmackDown and raw are on Hulu and anything TNA does can be found online somewhere nine times out of 10 the landscape is completely different from 2011

It's great for a wrestling fan to have so many ways to watch, but the same kind of people who gravitated to Hulk Hogan and sold out 15,000 arenas every night of the week 30 years ago do not care about pro wrestling these days and they don't give a shit if it's on TV, KZfaq, Hulu, etc. They ain't going to watch this shitty midget crap that marks love.

GFW failed (in part) because they were more focused on doing their little “spot shows” and Indy dates, than securing a TV DEAL!! as Russo said, fuck what year it’s, or new era/ new time it is: if your wrestling promotion isn’t on NATIONAL TV “like the big boys” Then you have nothing You have no wrestling promotion. ROH is on TV New Japan is on TV TNA is on TV I think Tommy Dreamers promotion “House of Hardcore” is on TV somewhere “Hiding” on the internet, pretending to be a wrestling promotion, is for the small fish. The above mentioned, knew this.

Another thing Mr. Russo doesn’t seem to understand the non-casual wrestling fans is a massively huge base that’s what people are going after now for WWE thought they didn’t need that base and they suffered that’s why they’re going back after that bass

@BlackFlightNY

WWE cares more about making their fake fighting be respected as if it’s legit, than getting back the fans who KNOW it’s just a TV show, but they don’t care, because it’s entertaining. WWE is catering to the fans who “WANT it to be real”- because THOSE are the “marks” WWE can squeeze the most MONEY out of

@johnnyj6718 5 жыл бұрын
Everybody laughs at wrestling and thinks it is a big joke... That is what most people think... Casuals are long gone now it is just hardcore marks and even they are getting sick of wwe garbage... Why watch fake shit when you can watch bellator or ufc and see the real thing.
