I’m runing a 97 b18b1 bolt ons type r lsd trans. She asking for boost or a Vtec head! But I love the way she pulls now

What’s you ig I recently did a b18b1 swap into my ek want this trans and I got a vtec head I’m build off the side

Turbo it and dyno tune it and you will be satisfied. Do not be cheap...add arp head studs and a better head gasket and upgrade the valvetrain if possible so you can rev to 8k rpm's safely. Start with 8psi enjoy it for a while make sure everything is running right then eventually you increase the boost to 12-15psi. You will have around 300 ponies depending on your setup and won't be adding too many parts. Ls vtecs's are great and all but traction will be an issue especially with a turbo on top of that and with a simple turbo LS engine instead you can have boost by gear and it won't be so bad traction wise plus you will have all the torque and hp you need to break 12s and you won't be spending too much time and money. I'd recommend an 18G Forced Performance turbo.

@@2quickk I’ve put a built b16a2 head on it since it made 173 stock injectors stock fuel pump, next is turbo kit for sure 💪🤙 thanks again for the advice

Can u repair a lsd piece? Sorry about mi english im chilean mecanic honda lover I have a integra 4 doors manual swap b20 +repro with a transsmision lsd Salutes from chile

Most LSD units are serviceable. You’d need to disassemble the transmission and LSD unit and replace the clutch packs with OEM replacements.
