The awesome thing about this recipe is it will be unique for each one of you based on what you have available from your garden. I’m having a high anxiety day at work currently. The nausea gets pretty bad the worse my nerves get. I always come to your channel for comfort and I just saw this video! I’ve never been so early, must be fated. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and life.

Man oh man! I can't believe I've been canning for years and never used an electric roaster. I'll be picking up a roaster for myself today after work. I can't wait to make my sauce now! Thanks :)

I just finished canning this and wowsers! It is the most delicious sauce I've ever made. I even threw beets in there. My kids said it tasted like the butternut sauce from trader Joe's. I'll take that compliment bc that stuff is yummy! Thank you for such neat ideas!

Hi there fellow Michigander! If you are into dehydrating, tomato powder from your tomatoes work to thicken your sauce too. I love dehydrated eggplant in it as well. Love watching your channel!

This is my favorite sauce! I have made it 2 years now, this will be my 3rd year. It's so easy. I put it on and I don't have to stand over it all day. Even my pickiest eater, loves it.

I just wanna say thank you. You are such an inspiration. I made this today and made 12. Qrts. I've made the pineapple zuchinni, zuchinni relish, peach salsa. It all tastes amazing. I plan on making many more of the items you've posted. Heck I think I'm going to restart my kombucha all because I watched your videos as well. Lol. Everytime I layed down to rest my back and feet I'd watch one of your videos and get inspired all over again. Couldn't wait to jump back up and do more. Lady you are the bomb. Thank you.

@that1870shomestead. Rachelle- now that you have a freeze dryer, have you FD your tomatoes? We FD ours and powder them. No more buying tomato paste, no more wasted cans, etc. And it's so convenient when you want to thicken your sauce. I've watched this video several times and my mouth waters every single time! Love all your videos and love the interaction between you and Todd. God bless you both, stay safe and stay healthy!

Some day I am going to have that lovely confidence about what I feel safe adapting and "just putting together" and I am, thanks to you Rachel because I've seen you talk about it and how wonderful it feels to go over that threshhold, really looking forward to it. Baby steps this week with my pressure canner -- I have now canned up 1 batch of chicken bone broth, 1 batch of chicken breasts, and a large load of green beans. That feels good, too!

Yes girl! This is how I started doing my sauce this year. Teaching my 18 year old son all the gardening, cooking, and preserving ways and it's fabulous. I thank you so much for all you share, you have taught me so many things and I am so grateful for you ❤️

Thanks again 4-30-22👍🏽♥️., I like how you do things use everything up., I have been being Wasteful and asking God to pls forgive me because I know there are people without food. You and others are helping me do better. I am 66-will be 67 in July the Lords willing♥️., Eating more Vegetables then meat anyway and Beans 🫘., Just watching you a few times have Open up my brain & feeding myself & some Seniors, I live in a Senior Complex Apartment’s looking out for each other😊♥️

I was waiting for this! I gave in and made my sauce last night and I pretty much used the same things but I was in a hurry so I shredded a lot of it first. It was good. If only I hadn't spilled the red pepper flakes. 🥵

Great tips there Thank you Rachel- we are in lockdown here in our part of Queensland at the moment ( due to Delta Strain of Covid) & strangely I am currently canning a similar pasta sauce. About to put a pork roast on the fire weber & make some dessert. I hope mine looks as good as yours. Cheers Denise- Australia

Those tomatoes are BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU RACHEL! This was exactly what I needed right now. I have a conglomerate of veggies and just shook my head as to what to do with them. Thank you for the inspiration. Tomorrow I see a veggie spaghetti sauce on its way into my pantry!
