I love Christie but I've never heard of Marsh. I will definitely be checking her out soon. I'm also trying to get into poetry but I don't really know what makes a good poem, I guess it depends on the person and the poem, though. I heard about Into the Go-Slow from Dominique too, and put it on my list but I just forgot about it. Too many books to keep up with.

I hate I didn't know about this Readathon in advance! I'm reading Forty Acres in March too. It is underhyped, but everyone who reads it loves it. Enjoy the readathon!

Oh. You put me on something with Marsh. Now I gotta go run and see what this author is about! I'm slowly, slowlyyyyy for some reason making my way around to getting Forty Acres off my wishlist. I'm so sad I hadn't heard about this until now. Just saw Miranda's video. This has me curious about checking the number of ratings on the books I own. But I'm certainly going into March with this concept in mind.

Yay for Forty Acres! I think people are afraid of that book and Smith is working on a part 2. It's a fast read. It reads like a movie. Good luck with the read along! I think you'll do well because you've chosen a mixed bag of choices. You won't get bored with those books. Very interested to hear what you have to say about Into the Go-Slow! Hey, nice video! I just started the Underhyped Readathon and I have read A Sheltered Woman by Yiyun Li, it's a short story that's beautifully written. After that, I'm not sure! I have an Italian thriller by Massimo Carlotto and some other Chinese fiction (A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary for Lovers by Xiaolu Guo and Decoded by Mai Jia). I feel like not a lot of people on Goodreads read a lot of Chinese fiction (or, at least, none of the people I follow~) and have really low ratings so we'll see how I go. You've picked some fantastic books! Did you mention if this was your first time participating? I think this is such a great movement that Charlotte started.
