Oh yeah. I probably would have done the same. The mountain looks like it's miles away because there's nothing to give perspective. By the time you can tell how close it really is, all you can do is "Yep, I'm gonna die."

@@CortexNewsService yep. I’ve done dumber things. But I’ve lived to tell about them. 53 years ago I watched a train pass by in a famous railway tunnel in England. It was about 10 inches away from me.

Very impressed with the power behind that one avalanche. 30 seconds from the top of the mountain before it almost buried that guy. Looked like it was shot out of a cannon.

That blizzard is exactly how it was here from 12/23 - 12/26, except we got 5feet of snow lol.

Excellent video. Each story was complete unlike so many of this type. I never heard of the anti avalanch like saving balloon before. The $1600 upper price is worth it.

As a young child living in Nebraska blizzards were common in winter. We couldn’t even see out our windows.

Cool avalanches, but for a "Real" blizzard, you should have picked videos from right here in the US, especially the upper midwest.

He called #7 a white out, it was a blizzard for sure, but not a white out. In 1985 I was in a white out for about 5 minutes near Ft. St. John B.C. It was night and I couldn't even see a glow from my headlights, in fact everything beyond the interior of my truck was white and visibility ended at my windshield.
