You inspire me all the time to create relaxing beautiful spaces. I recently went to Cape May and found a lovely antique brass headboard that l painted cream and a velvet pink vanity chair. I use this room for my dressing room and l have my mother's bridal satin night gown and robe hanging out where l can appreciate the piece of art l see it to be. Thank you for bringing romantic spaces back.

To clean your chandelier, get a bucket of water water with some type of cleaner (just a drop of dawn works.) then use cotton gloves, dip only the finger tips of the gloves and wipe off each crystal dip fingers when necessary. Swish the dirt off.

I use an antique silver sugar bowl for my loose powder and a crystal sugar bowl for my sponges. They both have lids and look so pretty on my vanity.

Hi Nikki, of course it's been many years ago but I loved watching my aunty fix her hair just like you did here. Seeing you wrap your hair set in a blue scarf brought back many memories of a time long gone but not forgotten 💔. I saw this on Pinterest a small hanging shoe cloth rack for the inside of your closet door. You put all your tall hair bottles in stead of shoes. Then when you open your closet door you can just see all of them 🙋🏻‍♀️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤗 love the pin curls in Puerto Rico we do it with a brown paper bag, cut in strips. You wrap the hair in one strip like if it were a roller and knot the paper bag strip. Then you put your head scarf on and it does mot bother your hair to sleep in

Love the dressing table. My niece has decided she wants one, so we are on a the lookout for a lovely place for her to focus on her personal routines. She now has to share her bathroom with one other and that is just too hectic! So nice that everything is in order. Love it!

Thank you for doing this. I tried the two finger method a couple of times but my ends were frizzy. I'll now try this technique. My hair is similar to yours, very fine with no body. Doesn't ever hold the curl with a curling iron so I'm really looking forward to this. I also use boxes for storage in my drawers, especially for small items I'll use a box my day or night cream comes in so they don't get lost in the drawer. Thanks Nikki- now I'm heading over to the morning video. XO

Nicki, I absolutely love this beautiful dressing table!!!!♥️♥️ I wish I had a convenient & efficient space for my dressing table. I have one but I never use it, So my bathroom counter always looks cluttered with all my “getting ready stuff” (part of it is lighting) and because lack of spacing… my puppy kennels are tucked underneath it. You have inspired me to devise a better solution for puppy kennels and lighting so I may finally use my dressing table to get ready. Thank you! 🥰

Thank you Julie! Yes, my hair has been so many colors in the past, especially as a teen, yikes! It's been years since I've colored my hair and didn't for the longest time once I got pregnant and then maybe once Aria turned 4 I started to get highlights. That lasted a couple of years and then I haven't since. I prefer my natural color on me most and love that there isn't any upkeep.

As I've said a lot, I love you videos! I am an Advanced Cosmetologist of over 30 years and never did pin curls or roller sets but learned all about them. I think you would get a better set and have it last longer if you found a good mouse for volume and body. It would be like a setting lotion for you. Setting lotions are way too heavy for you, my hair too. Love this!

Yes, I've tried mouse and gel in the past but I don't care for the texture or residue it leaves, especially when brushed so I use hairspray. By the end of the day my hair is very oily and those other products just make it worse it seems.

Beautiful area. I know you like target, and I have fine hair too.they sell Kristeness gentle shampoo, conditioner, and hair spray. I think you will love it. I use the conditioner 1x a week. This is just a suggestion.

Hi Nikki! Like a few others, I was wondering if your clips hurt when you slept on them? They are not small like bobby pins. I used the foam rollers when I was a young girl.

They do if I roll on them but I try to pin my hair to the sides and sleep on my back. It's best for my face anyway. When I've used bobby pins, I got kinks. Rollers don't work well for my hair either, at least I didn't care for the curls. My mom used them as well for me when I was younger.

If you have thicker hair this wouldn’t even dry over night.... but I guess you could let it dry part way in the closer to the head areas before curling. Do you ever put gel or mousse or hairspray in when it’s wet before you curl it to help hold the volume and curl?

Yes, my daughter has a hard time drying her hair overnight. I tell her to let it dry as much as possible before putting something in. I have tried both, they both leave a residue I don't care for and I've tried so many. It makes my hair feel so gross by the end of the day as well. I just stick with hairspray now, I never go more than a day without washing anyway.

Try using a little mouse or light gel on ends of wet hair for wet sets.

Another tip is to use foam rollers. It helps lift hair away for the scalp.

Yes, I've tried this but unfortunately don't enjoy the feel of my hair after or the stuff it leaves behind. The foam rollers also didn't come out as nice for my hair.

Less than a meter, it takes one yard to make a full. I'm no longer having half aprons made but my full is a 2-in-1 design so it can be folded over for a half look. Thank you for your requests!

Awh Nikki, love the curling of your hair. I use that same method but use 2 bobbypins to hold mine in place. (I too have very thin hair. I wash my hair with baking soda to remove hair spray residue) Thank for sharing. Eye liner demo, yes please!!!-- with respect to your comfort level of course. I need to create enchanting spaces!!!

Have you tried a spray setting lotion instead of Hairspray? Have you tried curl cream, maybe just on the ends after the leave-in conditioner and scalp treatment? I don't know how you sleep on those big duckbill Clips, very impressive. Have you considered small sponge rollers for adding volume to the top?

Yes, I've tried it all and wasted so much money in the process. I've also used several kinds of rollers but they make the top look so funny. As for now, this has been working out best.

(I was thinking of Redken Hot Sets when I suggested the spray setting lotion) I've seen another vlogger replace the funky plastic part of the sponge roller with a piece of cloth, more comfy and you don't get those weird creases from the clip. I tried the 'sleep stylers' sponge rollers and they were still to uncomfortable for me to sleep in. Happy New Year!

Yes, I take them off in the same place each day and put them on there as well and always put them away when finished.
