Oh definitely. It’s more about them getting the most attention and being the loudest then drawing attention to whatever it is they’re yelling about. When you make it more about you then whatever the issue is, then you’re not accomplishing anything. You’re just making it all about yourself. She could’ve just asked the vets questions politely. She could’ve just asked for more information as to why the birds are in cages. Sometimes things aren’t always what they seem which is especially true when you know nothing about for example how to keep a burb. But she didn’t. She had to make a whole show about it and embarrass herself for her I remember a while ago I’ve read people complaining to scorpion and tarantula keepers that they keep their pets in too small a enclosure. When the reality is that things like scorpions and tarantulas much prefer smaller spaces. Large spaces stress them out because being exposed means something is gonna come by and eat you. Also they spend most of their lives in a hole and really only go anywhere to eat (they don’t eat much and they often fast) and to find a mate. So they’ll be perfectly happy in a smaller enclosure. Not like scorpions or tarantulas have feelings anyways as they’re more instinctual then anything. But of course people still complain without knowing this. They just see creature in a small enclosure and go off. Especially with my example it makes them look more ridiculous because these critters prefer a cramped space

she left after being told to leave, so she wouldn't have been arrested or could not be sued for trespass, even after you ask someone to leave you still have to give them ample time to leave, and if the refuse then it becomes a trespass issue

@@Sin3xtreme she took over 5 min to leave and it wouldn’t have taken more than about 20 seconds, in most places if you don’t leave immediately upon being told to leave you are trespassing but it is hard to prosecute unless the police get there to tell you to leave and you generally will not get even a fine unless the police have to escort you out. On the other hand it seemed like she had been previously told she wasn’t welcome on site so she was trespassing the same way someone is trespassing when they enter an area with a keep out sign and she was doing that trespassing in a place with pharmaceuticals and she could be seen as being threatening. So they would have a case against her anyway. I didn’t know you could sue for trespass as far as I know you can’t be sued for that but a conviction would make her look worse and she already has multiple trespass convictions so one in their building would help their side a lot.

All I can say is suing her using other people money faking being "extremely traumatised" is a jerk move that deserve even less respect. Are real traumatised people a joke to them or they're just hopin on the oppourtinist train?

What is on me is not securing the cage sufficiently such that the dog would not be able to knock the cage over which lead to their escape. I failed to sufficiently protect them, a concept that would be obvious to an individual capable of using reason, one that is easily understood by what I wrote. They were not bread for me specifically. That I had a selfish desire is not immoral. It is, in fact, necessary for my existence.

Crap...I just thought of something! Vegans that have dogs...wtf do they feed the poor things??? Sure, dogs are omnivores like us, but they still predominantly need MEAT in their diets! If any vets are attacked by vegans with dogs again, they should start questioning them about their dog's diet. Dogs can survive on a vegan diet, but the extra strain it put on their digestive system shows in other ways. Dogs can *survive* on a vegan diet, not thrive. In some cases a vegan diet can be beneficial while the owner is working with a vet on an elimination diet for dogs who are allergic to multiple animal proteins. It's not good long term though, dogs and cats struggle with synthetic vitamins which is what they use in processed foods to meet the minimum requirements.

Sadly, most vegans are like this. Perhaps not extreme enough to be out harassing businesses, but annoyingly obnoxious regardless. I also find it stupid that they have issues against such things as other animal products like eggs, milk (and related dairy) and stuff like honey. Do they not know that you don't kill the animal to obtain it? There's also just no way in hell that you can feed your body properly if you cut out ALL animal products. We're just not designed for it. We need certain building blocks to repair tissues, and if we don't get it, all sorts of nasty health issues ensure, including teeth loosening and falling out, hair falling out and in the case of women, periods stopping, because the body is so malnourished. Vegans that "supplement" their extremely poor diets with tubs of powder or supplement capsules are lying to themselves. If their diet was "so perfect" they wouldn't need additional help from a bottle, now would they? So glad you switched back! Eggs are really good for you! Keep some chickens if you are able to. I am told that they taste superior to any store bought egg. I have 6 chickens myself. I don't eat eggs, but my partner does, lol!
