I finally made these Pasties ! I prepped all of the ingredients the day before and then for dinner tonight all I had to do was prep my puff pastry, cut it up, fill it and bake it. The filling is delicious and per your advice I will use the left overs to put over pasta similar to a meat sauce. I used French Lentils as that is what I had on hand and they really held up. I will make these a lot, especially in the summer when I could just have it with a fruit salad. I love to hear you say Pasties, your accent is so cute. Thank you for all of your videos and recipes. I am the biggest fan.

I make something similar to this often using a variety of mushrooms, onion, spices and herbs. Then I put a small spoonful of vegan cream cheese, then the mushroom mixture, and bake it.

How do you stop the bottom of the turnover from getting soggy and leaking out? It leaks even when I pinch the sides and the bottom is wet even when I try to limit the liquid in the filling

I'm watching mostly for ASMR to be honest. As your voice is so lovely -- love the accent! But the cooking is always beautiful and nice to watch as well. However, there is quite a bit of mic popping with the p's in this video.
