Thank you for Feeline Fridays. Still considering finding a hypoallergenic Siberian Forest Cat (tested). If you ever get bored, a lot of ferrets are fed dry cat food as well because of their high metabolism. Ideally, ferrets should be fed whole prey (not raw grinds nor segmented raw chunks like chicken feet or turkey necks commonly advocated in North America). In Europe, people work full-time, so they provide kibbles during the working hours then feed whole preys (eg. rabbits, rats, mice, chicks) when they are home. So, Ferrety Fridays would also be a nice alternative to Feline Fridays. :)

Also, 10-15 years ago, roach keepers used to high-protein dog food to their cockroach collection. But now they are finding that causes nutritional deficiencies, so they just feed chick starters instead (as in the livestock feed for raising baby chickens). I know, random, but I have ADHD.

3:54 - true, but you can still find statements on EU products like "meant for growing large breed puppies, except Great Dane under (blank) weeks"

Far as i know none of the Canadian or American brands has legal disclaimers certain large breeds don't fall under the "large breed" category of pet food guidelines
