Nice…16013 is a classic and something many don’t realize the 3035 movement in that watch is the same one in the submariner and sea-dweller of that time-period.

Sweet watch. I bought my wife one about 6 years ago. Under 2 k. Thinking about swapping the acrylic to sapphire.

Hey, Nice video I also have a rolex datejust 16013 but on a non two tone jubilee. Do you ever have any issues with the clasp on the bracelet opening on its own? Mine has a tendency to snap open If I clap for example. The bracelet has quite a bit of stretch but I’m wondering if a restoration of the bracelet could maybe solve my issues. -Kasper from Denmark

No I never have issues with the clasps. What I would recommend is adjusting the clasp, you maybe have to push in the front of the clasp a little so it snaps in tighter.

My 16013 clasp would pop open and have had to take it back and have it adjusted. Jubilee 2 tone bracelet.

@@WatchClyde ideally these specs! I really like the 1601, two tone, fluted bezel, jubilee, champagne dial. I would ideally find one where the dial of the 1601 is slightly washed out/lighter champagne vs the new ones. In some pictures and lighting, new ones can almost look yellow/dark if that makes sense
