The joy of writng with a fountain pen have kept me sane for the last 3 years. Finding there is a grea community out there has been an unexpected pleasure. Thank you Mick and all of the others who love pens with a passion in an insane world.

I actually bought a Wancher Dream pen after seeing a brilliant review, I have the aka tamenuri and I'm just in awe at how beautiful it is. I was able to upgrade to a gold nib because it was a gift for my 50th. I think at the time you could opt for a roll stop. I preferred not to go that route. It really is an affordable urushi pen and I am so excited to own this stunning pen. Thanks for a great review Mick, the Midori would be my 2nd choice

Looks very much like a nakaya piccolo but at half the price. Which is to say gorgeous. First urushi pen I like which has a price that doesn't take my breath away. I am sorely tempted.

I have the exact same pen but with a fine nib. I cannot even put into words how much joy I get from simply using it. I was just writing, and I searched for a video to leave this comment on.

These Wanchers are kind of my grail pens, especially in urushi red. So elegant and classy, but not ostentatious. Some day…
