Roman is my favorite killer and had the best motive he's the true mastermind behind it all he's very underrated.

Fun fact: In the original script for this movie, Angela was supposed to be the second Killer, and that scene where Sydney caught her with the Ghostface mask in the bathroom was Angela actually changing into ghostface to terrorize Sydney.

I hope you do decide to continue! Scream 4 is my second favorite after the 1st! I didn't like 3 at first, but I've grown to appreciate it. Sidney has good hand-to-hand combat against Roman in this!

This one definitely leaned into the comedy aspects of the horror/comedy category of the franchise, and because of that they emphasized the bad decisions trope of horror movies. I'm not sure y'all picked up on the source of Roman's actual rage. Dude is a child of rape and knew it, so he hated where he came from. Roman just wanted to destroy everything associated with his bloodline. The producer he kills is even a stand-in for his father since he participated in Maureen's assault where he was conceived. Actually the darkest motivation of the trilogy.

Number three is one of the creepiest ones in a lot of peoples opinion’s I think so

I know I'm late but I want to talk anyway. I always looked at the hand holding seen as her showing empathy. Obviously Roman is a psychopath who deserved what he got but think about his story. He was basically screwed over from birth, he was a product of rape, he was probably raised by Milton (the old man), a Hollywood Elite no moral compass. Met his mother just to be instantly shut down, finds out she has a family and he's basically been erased from her life. His story is actually sad ASF when you look at it, if him and Sidney just connected earlier things probably would've been so different but sadly, this is just the way it ended up.

Fun facts. Original script was Stu alive from jail masterminding two ghostface fans of Stu trying to kill sidney for Stu. Columbine shooting happen so they changed script to Roman brother and his gf Angelina who plays sid in stab 3. But last min they changed it to just Roman. So that’s why it feels like the movie should of had two killers. Also the original writer of scream 1 and 2 did not write this that’s why it has a different feel and weakest scream in franchise

Fun fact: can't remember who confirmed it. But originally, the ending was extended. When Kincaid says "we're gonna start a movie" ...it was actually another video from Randy talking about survivors and how not every horror movie has to have a bleak ending, etc etc. They should have kept that.

This script went through development hell, and in one of the older versions of the script, Angelina was supposed to be the second killer, which is why there are numerous scenes where she is conveniently absent, or behaving obsessively in the final script and, thus, this version of the movie.

Number four is basically a decade later like how Sydney and company are getting on with their lives for the past decade. And oh s*** here comes another one. Five and six are more connected to themselves than four, but there are people coming back from the earlier movies. I'll just say that and a lot of the new characters are related to legacy characters

The movie is not without its many flaws. But this movie is a literal product of its time. They were forced to change the tone and make it less violent due to the Columbine shooting. I enjoy it so much, but yes, it's a step down from the first 2.

This is probably the worst Scream of the entire franchise. They will slowly get better from here on. The latest one, Scream 6, may be the second best of the entire franchise and really paves the way for a whole new direction with two really bad ass leads driving the story

This is definitely my least favorite, I just except it because it's a part of the franchise. I don't hate but I recognize that it's not really that good. Everything from here is better in my opinion.

I got say 3 is better than 2 mostly because Billy's mom doesnt make sense to me if it was the brother in the second one that would have had more sense plotwise. On top of that The fact that it completes the series (The first part anyway because next one is years and years Separated from part 3 ) in a nicely tied bow. I'm going to tell you kids right here. This is my least favorite of the franchise. It's not great. It's not bad. It's not up to par with the rest of them. 1 and 2 are classics for 5 and 6 are great follow-ups I am very excited to see seven. Please please please please please please continue. Do not think that this is where it leaves off and goes downhill because this was just the least impressive of the movies and that was because they had to change some s*** around because of like a school shooting that happened in that time frame and some spoilers getting online so they had to edit some s*** last minute and that's why the second killer was cut and why everyone seems to think this one girl was involved because she originally was and they just didn't change those scenes when the rewrites happened. Please please continue the series. I promise it gets better
