It's a pretty common reaction, honestly. You see it a lot in impoverished areas where the residents go out of their way to destroy people who try to succeed. We usually call it envy and jealousy, although I'm not sure they apply exactly in these situations. It's a destructive impulse where if I don't have something, I make sure no one else does.

That's because Jordan is a great student of Jung, and Lucas spent about 2 years studying Campbell (student of Jung) for Star Wars. They are literally both Jungian. That, and Star Wars is a fairly common modernised hero's journey that we've seen since the 1940s or something. The Hobbit (1937) is a great early example. Older examples literally go back thousands of years to the Greeks. How do you think Jung even formulated his ideas? He studied history and myth and story in the first place, same with Tolkien before writing The Hobbit and then LOTR. It's in the Bible, Edda, Beowulf, and Sumerian creation stories, and Homer, and many others over the years. Actually, so much of what Tolkien did already existed in pieces. The same is true for Harry Potter, the Percy Jackson novels and movies, and many others. The oldest examples are likely 2,000 BC, some of the oldest stories we have on record. It's very Jungian, and Jordan has spoken about these stories before in his various public talks and lectures (namely, in 1996, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2017).

I’m frankly glad that everyone’s just moved on from Jar Jar hate because he wasn’t even that bad and George acknowledged he overdid him in The Phantom Menace (even going as far as to have him be indirectly responsible for Palpatine’s rise for power). Besides, Ahmed Best has moved on and got a chance to be a Jedi (even if he was relegated to Mando Season 3 and a game show). Taking accountability and being willing to move on are something that the Kennedy regime are unfortunately unable to do.

I don't agree with many things Jordan stands for, but he has helped so many emasculated young men to go back on track with his ideas of discipline and a life of purpose. I as a woman find wosdom and inspiration on these ideas. I also admire his resilience and honesty.

Well as it turns out, the writers of the acolyte are not only unfamiliar with starwars, they're also unfamiliar with Jordan Peterson 🤔 Though it does serve to illustrate one reason why theres no breakout characters in most disney starwars productions. Its because in most of their shows the spotlights not on a charismatic protagonist that explifies the writers' ideals, nor is it on an original suporting cast of characters. No, focus is poored onto the older pre-disney shows in an attempt to disparage them and onto Jordan Peterson, apparently. Quite the coupe on his part i must say. 🙄

The thing they have the most issue with Peterson is that he has taken ideologies to their probable inevitable end based off history, sociology, and psychology and told them essentially what they think sucks.

Dr. Peterson represents a real "potential threat" to Disney/Lucas Star Wars social engineering project. Setting up Peterson as a fastasy villain is the only way Disney can mock him in the public arena. But Peterson has demonstrated that he can shut down their delusial arguments.

I want to correct you on a point: They're _not_ quoting Dr. Peterson directly, verbatim, as you say. They're changing his wording enough to be able to strawman him. Dr. Peterson: "...You see, even in the revelation of their triumph, the _initial_ depth of their despair." (Emphasis mine.) Villain: "Even in the revelation of our triumph we see the depth of our despair." _Not_ the same thing. _Not_ the same sentiment. In Dr. Peterson's quote there is the chance for redemption. In the villain's strawman paraphrase triumph and despair are equivalent, or at least simultaneous.

Let's be honest: the only reason they hate this guy so much is the drama around trans issues that made him popular. Even if nothing else you believe is offensive to them, they will still try to destroy you over just that. Look at JK Rowling. She's a feminist who retroactively made characters in her story gay or implied they may not be as white as previously assumed, yet they will not relent on this one thing. The irony is most people wouldn't know who Peterson even is if they hadn't made him a household name trying to cancel him over pronouns.
