y'all are saying this video is misleading. Read the description people. She has a pattern you can buy. I don't see anything wrong with her selling a kit. She has invested time and effort to make this video and she is entitled to make whatever money she can out of it. Y'all just want a tutorial to spoon feed you for free.

If you cannot give away the details of how to knit this cardigan/sweater then change the title of this video PLEASE. As an absolute beginner I was looking for detailed tutorial(s) and this is a very misleading title on your upload!

Xara Z I did not try to mislead anyone. I showed all the steps to make this sweater. I made this video to be a help mate of the written pattern. I understand that I did not share the amount of sts or rows but I did show all the steps to make it. Even if you aren’t making this pattern, most sweaters have ribbing, stockinette st, and decrease and increases, as well as all the sewing so I don’t think it’s misleading.

This isn’t what I expected, but I understand after reading the comments why you don’t want tell how to make the sweater. It might be nice to say you are showing the different stitches, etc. that will be needed to make the sweater. Maybe people won’t be so confused if they realize that’s what they are watching. Thanks for showing how to splice (or whatever it’s called) two skeins of wool together! That was interesting!

deborah lipscomb Sleeves are made just as the body is made...rib rows, increases, and decreases. Remember, this is a tutorial as to what you should know to make this sweater. The pattern is not included.

I’m having a lot of issues following the written pattern for picking up stitches on the sides, I keep ending up with more or less then 45, do you have any tips? I’m actually not a beginner but for some reason this part has been giving me a lot of trouble so any help would be appreciated!

For the collar, rather than knitting each side one at a time and sewing in the middle at the top, can I use a circular needle so I don’t have to sew at the top?

Any thoughts on sizing? I have the kit, and have been hesitant to start because I can't decide what size to make. I can't find any guidance about how much ease the garment is meant to be worn with. I'm 5'3, 128 lbs, 37" bust, and I'd like it to fit about like yours does on you

Rachel Flickinger I would do a size small. I’m 5’5” and not as skinny as you and I am wearing a medium.

Isabelle I would definitely use the needle size recommended, unless you’re a loose knitter, then I was do a gauge to see if it’s close to the same size. It might turn out smaller and you won’t use as much yarn. So it’s up to you but I would advise to use the same size so you get the same outcome

I bought this pattern on WAK but I'm wondering if the patterns is correct...the instructions for the back piece seems to only accomodate one arm hole (you only decrease on one side,rather than both) - am I wrong though and should just follow the directions in the pattern and trust that WAK know more than me...??

Everything fits perfectly, except for the armpits which are extremely tight. Do you know what I could have done wrong? I triple checked the pattern, but I can't figure out what the issue is.

It depends on how how you sew it together. Maybe skip a few sts when you are sewing it and it won’t create such a tight or small hole

I did have yarn leftover. I made a size medium and I couldn’t easily of made it so much smaller. It is very slouchy on me and I wear size medium and large in tops. So yes, you can definitely make this shorter
