We Caught Some HUGE Redfin Perch (Catch & Cook)

In this video myself and Jesse head down to Kaitangata to look for some sea run trout but plans changed once we discovered some large Redfin Perch on the chew.. P.S this was filmed last season.

nice! went out yesterday for some perch for a fishing comp but only landed one small one but seen so many trout and felt stupid to leave the fly rod home, the fish were rising on the surface A LOT! I enjoyed this mate good on ya!

Clutha River, it’s a huge piece of water. But you’ll find perch nearly every waterway down in the lower South Island.
