Drop… and give me 3/4 of a cup of sugar! Today on Home Movies, we're FIXING A RECIPE ERROR! That's right, the Salty Lemon Shortbread recipe published in Sweet Enough is WRONG and I'm sorry. But we're fixing it! Today, I'm joined by my friend who is also my trainer who is also a big baker: Bobby Westside (not his real last name don't worry). I desire fitness in my life and Bobby desires shortbread, and so we are making Salty Lemon Shortbread. This shortbread is the perfect amount sweet (sweet enough, if you will) and gets its flavor from freshly grated lemon zest and preserved lemon (optional but completely worth using if you can find it!) It’s the dessert you leave on the counter and break at all day. Maybe it's a snack, maybe it’s your breakfast, or maybe you enjoy it with a Bourbon Arnold Palmer like I do in this episode. The timing of this video is honestly haunting me because I've made this recipe THREE times this week. Once on a whim for a picnic, and then I was voluntold to make them again because my friends couldn't get enough. Usually made it from the cookbook, but I made it a couple of days ago too for my family while we're on vacation together. Obviously didn't pack my cookbook for vacation so I looked it up on your website and was taking serious psychic damage because the one on your website was not the same and I was so confused lol.
