I think this stone floor at 7:32 is a typical floor used in the top floors of French chateaus, intended as fire protection 🤔

When I look at some chateaus the mess they are in yours is a dream it really is xx

I love the furniture, the Brocante's have so much stuff to offer. The wall sconces are really nice as well. I am a little confused, is the apartment you're in, in the Chateau, or off the property. Better than a screwdriver for scraping is a small spatula for plaster in French Spatule de Platre/enduit...pronounced Spat-Yule poor plah-tre... You can put dish soap or WD40 on the stairs, just under the step where the down board touches it and between the two bears on each step, then clean to take the slippery stuff off the steps...also nail the boards as well with fine nails at the sides, that is what I do on parquet that squeaks... Xyloprene at the hardwood store for the wood worms..sand down the bugget and apply two coats inside and out... What day was little person's birthday??? I'm the 19th, LEO's are the BEST!!!

Just paint your shelves in cupboard with white Matt paint it will put the finishing touches to a lovely cupboard I know all these tricks I brought up my family on my own after a nasty divorce many years ago so I had to learn

You might want to rethink those wall candles-old house burns fast. And you’ll want to use those electric wall lights to be turned on.

I would suggest you watch The Pethericks (Chateau and Convent owner) Escape to the dream, Chateau Love, Dreaming of a Chateau with help planning your content. It's kind of all over the place jumping here and there. People will want to see you doing projects, even hanging a lamp. There is a huge body of people who will follow but they need content. I say this wishing you the best. We would all enjoy another good chateau vlog.
