I missed this show when it first came out and have been watching it in reruns and love it. I've been an Emily Procter fan for years befor i saw this and now it's my favorite scene of hers. "What's up?" Gets me everytime.

She was in only 12 episodes. Far too few. Seems like a third were in that "junction box" basement office. I really loved it when gallant knight Sam went back upstairs and fired the two frat-rat thugs for harassment. And the whole Pinafore-Penzance contretemps and the "He is an Englishman" acceptance scene. Lovely, brief arc. Yeah, I'm crushing.

The problem with this clip is that it's missing the set up. Sam suggests that the President should meet Ainsley and give her a pep talk using exactly the same words that the President eventually used. Knowing the set up made Bartlett's words seem so much funnier.
