The Premier League has accused Manchester City of breaking its financial rules following a four-year investigation.
The reigning Premier League champions have been referred to an independent commission over alleged breaches of a series of financial rules between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons.
Man City are accused by the Premier League of not providing accurate financial information - but what does this mean for the club, and what could the repercussions be for Pep Guardiola’s side?

It took them 5 6 years to investigate. Another 10 year to close the case. At that time, Pep already retired. See you after 10 years. We will see how the case ends.

City’s biggest offense honestly was insulting our collective intelligence by insisting they weren’t doing this the entire time. Yes it is totally real that Man City has revenue on par with Real Madrid and there is absolutely nothing fishing going on there lol.

All this rubbish about FFP in the media recently about City and Chelsea about "Fair Play" in a sporting sense, but wasn't FFP original intentions to prevent reckless spending that has landed many clubs into administration at the time? The name "Fair Play" is just a name, it doesn't even out the odds with rich clubs, in fact, the FFP rules keeps established clubs at the top because they already have high revenue, while it hampers smaller clubs from getting bigger.

I know this has to say alleged or that they are accusations for legal reasons, but everybody has known for at least a decade City have been cooking the books and attaining fraudulent sponsors. It seems really farcical that we even have to say allegedly at this point.
