About the Italian pronunciation: You always pronounce the e at the end of a word. So it's DavidE (the stress here is on the letter A) and De SimonE (stress on the O). Napoli was correct but the stress is on the letter A (it means Naples btw). Del Giudice has the stress on the U (so it was right) but "-ce" is pronounced like "che" in the word "checkmate" (and therefore you pronounce the letter E here as well). Also, "del Giudice" literally means "of the Judge" I hope that was helpful ;)

First time I've heard the term and, after looking it up, it turns out it's a very rare occurrence in live play; it mostly happens in chess problems. Anyway, it's good to know it exists so, thanks for that

Ohh wow! I've never seen this game before! How have I not seen this game before?!?! What a truly "magical move", as the Great Agadmator describes.

I kept staring at Bc7 trying to figure out what the idea was. Rook takes seemed obvious to me, but i couldnt find the brilliant queen sac. Queen takes was pretty simple for me to figure out, but again, i was baffled that Qb7 would be the move either way

It forces a queen trade and white’s knight would still be hanging. Once he moves it back Black would take the center

The name in backgammon for one vs. several is "chouette". The solo player (in the "box") wagers separately against all his opponents, so he stands to win or lose more than any of them. As usual, the strongest players collect the money.
