What is that Smell??? Cleaning my Corsair PRO wireless headphones

Күн бұрынWTH??? Does my head smell like vinegar or are my headphones just in need of a good cleaning? These things got so nasty. Now the question is simply, is this smell from the headphones, or am I sweating this smell now for some reason???

This tutorial may be outdated, Corsair advise you do not use water to clean headphone cushions, as water damages the material. They suggest wiping with Isopropyl alcohol

I've pinned your comment, but in my experience the alcohol doesn't help because the sweat isn't just on the covers, it's fully absorbed into the cushions - I know, nasty :-)

Thank you, I was finally able to clean out my headphones fully after I watched your guide. I was really nervous when I was popping out the part that keeps the top foam piece connected since you advised to be careful, but I think I managed to do it without breaking it thankfully.

You would be good for tutorials at putting roms/emulators on the Retroid Pocket 2 as that seems the hot little handheld with already over 10,000 sold on release.

agree, I bought a replacement kit, much better, hasn't smelled in a long time :-)
