I debated with myself whether or not to post today. However, as an increasing number of state jurisdictions have enforced a stay-at-home order, I recognize the welcome distraction that videos such as these might provide, and I decided to go ahead and put this up. I want to also apologize preemptively for a delay in replying back to comments. The internet in my complex has been operating intermittently/sporadically due to a fault in the underground cable, and having that taken care of will presumably depend on the essential vs. nonessential nature of internet access during this time. We’ve not heard anything so far about when to expect it to be resolved (which is completely understandable as it’s obviously not a matter of life or death). Support both your physical and mental health; reach out to others for emotional support via phone, text, etc. and provide support back to those in need. Thinking of you all.

@@rainachaudhry9663 I cannot give prescriptive nutritional advice over the internet. Furthermore, body weight and nutrition requirements vary immensely from individual to individual, based on a number of factors unique to each person. It would be both impossible and inappropriate for me (or anyone else) to advise someone over the internet regarding specific dietary needs as everyone's goals and needs are so different. My suggestion to you would be to discuss this matter with your PHCP and they, together with yourself, can devise a suitable plan to support your goals.

My mother and her sisters always wore driving gloves as early as 1955 and they were never without hats and sunscreen. People thought they were a bit wacky, particularly prior to the 1980s, because everyone else in California worshipped the sun. Fair-skinned and green eyed, I adopted the same practice after finishing my B.S. and now, in my 50's, am grateful for their lead. My father was an eye doctor and also had us wearing UV sunglasses to protect our eyes and I've used Tretinoin since 1993 (Obagi). I keep a pair of UV gloves on my driver's seat and a spare pair in the glove box. I also keep a stash of thin, disposable, food handling gloves in my car so I can quickly slip them over my driving gloves when filling my car or use them alone to keep hands clean at grocery store, etc. My friends used to say the food handling gloves were over-the-top, but then the pandemic hit and they quickly ordered the same. I enjoy your videos and wish you continued luck on life's journey.

I reapply only if I've washed my hands, for instance, and I'm out and about or walking in the park and have my hands exposed. I do not reapply my facial sunscreen. I am not obsessive about SPF, as natural vitamin D from sunshine is vitally important. While I want to obviously protect my skin and decrease my risk for skin cancer and premature photo aging, a balanced approach, in my opinion, is ideal. So that's what I personally practice.

I loved this video. I also carry a very small pair of scissors and I have needed them many times. It always makes it through at the airport as well which has been handy for traveling because you always seem to need a pair scissors. I liked the reason why you carry the plastic bag, I carry aspirin because you never know when somebody might be having a heart attack. And I always thought that was strange but now I don’t. And I liked what you do by taking spare contacts with you, I just picked up my daily new contacts and as a brand new contacts wearer I never would’ve thought to do that. Thanks!

I used to carry extra contacts as well (now I don’t after getting LASIK, anyway) and back up plus back up for back up, lol. But pls do not leave them in your car as it often gets too hot ^^ “ (and sunscreen, too, if this applies to anyone) Thanks for sharing ❤️

If I have a breakout, I don't do anything. I leave it alone, and it typically heals naturally within a week or so. Thankfully, with using tretinoin, I rarely experience breakouts. I did in the beginning of my treatment, but that was many, many years ago.

I am the same way, my mom actually gave my brother and I both a little laminated card with her kiss and a little note when we were in highschool. I carried it in my purse for years and when I was 36 Someone stole my purse and to this day i mourn the loss of that laminated kiss from my mom.

❤ I was wondering what was your skin type before you started Retin A. I'm considering buying your daily susncreens, but historically I have reacted poorly to mineral sunscreens (hives, welts, itching, breakouts, pimples), and water resistant sunscreens (lots of breakouts/acne). I'm currently using a fluid chemical SS from Paulas Choice which is perfectly fine except that I sweat it away very quickly. I'm sweating constantly because my country is very hot most of the year. The combination sunscreens I have tried from Elta Md are fine under my eyes (dry area) but in the rest if my face cause breakouts ( UV daily, UV clear). Im using Adapalene/Differin regularly and remove it all at night with an oil cleanser.

I have normal skin type. I react poorly to chemical-only sunscreens, however my skin seems fine with combination physical (mineral) and chemical agents combined, so that's what I use.

Thank you for deciding to post your video. Hope you and your family are safe and well. London is just preparing for lockdown, already armed security guards are patrolling Sainsbury's (supermarket) very strange and slightly sad to see how our society is changing. But, there's also been a lot of good too, sharing items my neighbour's are all looking out for each other. I've been WFH now second week, trying to find a healthy holistic balance. I've been going out alone for some fresh air and exercise.

Hi Have you ever had your sunscreen melt in your purse (like in the hot summer months)? I keep an extra deodorant in my car but I discovered it melts in the summer :( I've had to put it in a plastic ziplock baggy to avoid that and the contents of it not going through my important papers in my car) Blessings & Stay Safe out there😇

Blessings to you. I have had lip balm melt in my bag before...and in my car console, too. The ziploc bag is a good idea.

@@JenniferMyers thanks! can I ask why? I follow a dermatologist here on yt who religiously reapplies sunscreen 3 or 4 times a day and encourages us to do the same
