Why are people angry at new England kit?

The new England kit has stirred up a storm, all because Nike, the kit’s designers, have changed the colours of the flag on the back of the shirt.

I am so baffled as to who on earth would think this way. It's not 2 teams, the feminists + the gays + Nike vs you and the England squad... it's Nike who have made a quirky design decision, and most people don't care because it's still St George's Cross, just with different colour grading. It's absolutely bizarre how people fail to see nuance.

As an England fan I can only feel that seeing the cross in nred or any colour on the kit is good ... as long as the real message of the cross is remembered. It is not about pride ... national or otherwise ... but the message of salvation through Christ our Lord.
