Carrot was the strangest one to me. Because he seemed to be set up in Whole Cake Island with her own tragedy with Pedro's death and associated motivation to see the dawn of the world, alongside having a dynamic with the existing members. But then got promptly sidelined in Wano for one reason or another.

I think that every unofficial crew member will come back in the final war. Vivi, Yamato, Carrot, I think they're all gonna return and join for the final battle.

I dont know if we get more nakama, but im sure we get friends that will help in the final battle, and then be like honorary nakamas. Vivi, Carrot and Yamato will definitly help at the end, and we can include the minks, the samurai of wano, Law and his crew, Smoker and co, Rebecca and her father, and Bon Chan. And then, there is the fleet of luffy, with all that people.

I mean, it makes sense. I might be miss remembering, but I'm fairly sure at the very start of the adventure, Luffy said his goal was 10 crew members. So if this is true, Oda probably planned that from the very start.

in the very first chaper of the manga luffy said that he would like 10 crewmates, curently it is 9, therefore mostlikely someone will join before the very end, most likely vivi or yamato, the way wano ended, there is a clear way for yamato to join, based on the dialoge with luffy

Another thing is that, none of those characters that could be added serve a unique function in the crew. Luffy is the captain, Zoro is first mate, Nami is the navigator, Usopp is the sniper, Sanji is the cook, Chopper is the doctor, Franky is the shipwright, Robin is the archeologist, Brooks is the musician, and Jinbe is the helmsman. They have enough strong fighters, so any additional crew member needs to bring something else too.

There is one character that fits in, in the same way jinbei does; Sabo. Sabo was introduced before the time skip and while he is a part of the revolutionary army it is possible the army is defeated or succeeds in their goals. If anyone joins the crew out of existing character it could be him. It probably won't happen, but it could make sense.

I think Vivi should join and then noone else. Even if Vivi won´t be a fighter, the crew doesn´t need other fighters. With the tenth titanic captain revealed to be Aokiji, it is likely that he will either betray Blackbeard or fight someone outside of the Strawhat pirates. After that we have 9 titanic captains vs 9 strawhats and Luffy vs Blackbeard.

Idk. I do see Carrot potentially joining simce the last scene we saw, ended so unconclusive. Like, dosen't that scene seem like a red haring? She didn't even get a goodbye scene with the Strawhats

It seems like they have their full crew. Now they’re making relationships with important and powerful figures that will help them down the line. Wano will go to war for Luffy, no questions asked. And it will be Yamato and Momonosuke at the front of their forces. Same for Carrot and the Zoe.

strawhat pirate all has a dream and goal, that's why vivi stop being a member because her dream is not with the strawhat. while Yamato has unfinished business in wano but as long someone has a dream left unfinished anyone will join the crew.

Yamato is not trans. SHE is canonically a woman, confirmed by Oda. This idea that she was trans came about from a wildly mishandling of the transition pre-introduction when Kaido mentioned her as his brat. This was taken as Kaido having said his son rather than his kid/brat, with the word for this having multiple meanings in Japanese and the language being very contextual. This is no different to how Hachinosu has been mistranslated as Beehive rather than Honeycomb, since Hobeycomb fire is the process of firing a gun(s) at a target with the intention of filling it with as many holes as possible, hence Fullalead island. Yamato idolized Oden and wishes to live as he did, but she doesn't want to be a man. In Yamato's eyes, Oden being a man doesn't even matter. It's his character that she respects not his genitals or chromosomes.

I was really surprised when Yamato didn’t join. I really hope he comes back for some nice moments though. I think part of the magic of pre-timeskip was seeing new characters join, but I also get that with a bloated cast it’s hard to give everyone their moments each arc.

considering this is the last saga, it just doesn't make sence to have another strawhat. and what would there role in the crew be? that's the big issue i had with yamato. sure he want to be oden and what is his goal that he will work towards.

Oda's obbession with the monster trio needs to stop. Yamato should have joined the crew because if she really wanted to follow in Oden's footsteps she would have tried anything to leave Wano like Oden tried to do all the time. He couldn't set out to sea and had spent years trying. Only able to leave becuase Whitebeard helped him. Oda literally made her character motivation take a 180 with a lame excuse of wanting to explore Wano.

Does any think bonney might join the straw hats considering whats happening with the current manga arc and she has a personal grudge or dream that is destroying the world government and it is the enemy for the last saga

well luffy said in the beginning he wanted 10 pirates. BB have 10 pirates on his crew. doesnt make sense to get more at this point

We didn't get too emotionally attached to the alabastans in this arc, of course ruling over people seems clear to the eye, we didn't care about that. That's why there even was the deal over wether she would still travel with them. That's my biggest disappointment feeling i've ever gotten from the series and it sucked to be the strawhats who still didn't get public credit for stopping the rebellion. The crew were even still disappointed even after vivi gave her reason. I think it's because you really felt the "x scene", that it's accepted she just had to leave. I thought she would make frequent appearances after........ No! She's not talked about by the crew after they easily let robin on and we do the whole thing with trying to get her back from the government. After you've forgotten about her. At the end, you finally drew her, and it's just oda trying for you to not question robin joining was okay or not. And she appears amazingly again at the very end of the timeskip, where she gets the supposed code(which i'm like, oda,this doesn't make up for 330 episodes -380 chapters without her, you've really done nothing with vivi). Then she tragically goes silent until at the end of zou. We get excited, then not in 2 chapters. Another long arc happens and she's at the mariejois, okay other characters are there too, okay, and this dark figure brings up her picture out of everyone to the "throne"... Okay maybe some- no. Don't get the answer and fans already speculate the(uninteresting) "reasons" why and move on. And then egghead, okay, and she's a d, I would have more attached to this revelation 13 years ago. I'm team strawhat vivi, but every opportunity there's just very little and people get more attached to characters with powers then didn't get the bond treatment with vivi and just want them to be full members. They don't have any chemistry with the crew the same vivi did. Her being brought back for very little just is a sicker torture than any of wayne gacy's gein's dshmer's any other serial killer's, combined. That's what I said. Oh.... If she's not the whole piece to the end, i'll make a nuke look like a micro-force. Ha (Yamato is a girl, she has the breasts, butt and data confirms her too.
