Jesus Christ brother thank you so much man I literally just got out of this type of deal yesterday man. Like honestly this shit is literally every word of what I was going through. I pray for everyone going through this. It’s gonna be hard, but crazy how when you start to question yourself in a relationship, that’s more than enough of a sign that this love isn’t healthy. But you probably was like me and yk lacked intimacy haven’t been with anyone in a long time and frankly I was kinda scared of relationships because of that. And she chose me and yk i fell in. I always knew everything which is one reason I feel so bad because I was always aware. But somehow it was like I was constantly trying to change my fate and hope it just works out. I kept praying tho and every time something would happen. I kept being hardheaded and falling back into it. Desperate for love. I truly see how much i lacked love for myself. Willing to let someone make a fool out of me in fear of them leaving me. Even though before I met them and was single I was just fine. I had my moments but for the most part I was okay. Sorry if I’m just yapping this is pretty fresh so I’m just trying to get it out.

Well, here's something fascinating to me that I've learned about myself during these two no contact periods. It's when I begin to NOT care that much that I don't MIND being the nice one. It wouldn't even occur to me to block his phone number (the way he did mine again just yesterday) because I don't care enough about the situation to put energy into doing that. I feel just as calm and thankful to folks like him who taught me the hard lesson of what friendship, character and integrity really look like. Without experiencing him, I doubt if all that would've gotten into my soul and spirit that way that has. In fact, I believe the Lord needed me to be secure and strong in this knowledge going into this next phase of my life and I am truly thankful.
