After a break-up, your ex might want to shut you off for a couple of reasons. Sometimes, they try to convince themselves that you are someone not worth talking to because you have already separated.

Another good video. I did call her bluff on saying she was done talking to me yet it's been a month since that night. I figure she really is still upset over what happened between us and still has things of mines, which she didn't give back. I'm sure she read the few texts I sent on just reconnecting the right way from watching some of your previous episodes.

Okay but after being together for six years why no text or call shouldn't there be at least a teaspoon of love for me in her heart. I was a good man cook clean work run her bath water make good love give her massages cooked so good she begs me to cook for her . I paid all the rent and bills for 3 years straight I will admit I stop going to work because of a injury and anxiety issues but I still provided a little bit . But like wow even though she had bipolar issues I still loved her I would of never left her for nobody. She talking to dudes from Egypt now that can't even speak English and get mad at me for being jealous but she gave me so much love I miss it why can't she just pick up the phone and say how you're doing at least . Why 😭

@@realfactstv7322 Sorry to hear that! To be honest sometimes it don't have to be nothing wrong with you and you don't have to do anything wrong for the person to not want you or to keep in contact. You can give a person the world and still not be good enough to them in which it makes you question if something is/was wrong with you. I can't honestly say why there was no contact on her part but I know from experience that if the love is no longer there than most likely a female don't want nothing else to do with you. A female leaves mentally before she leaves physically. Sorry that you went through that but don't let that stop you from being a good man.

You always have the perfect video of what I'm currently going through. We were together 9 years and the last couple did us in. We kind of healed each other the first few months.Its been six months. Six weeks ago she was doing positive pullbacks but then texted me daily for about a month. She was playful and flirty and out of nowhere distanced herself again. She still texts but can go days and not say anything but when she does it feels different. I think she may be in a relationship with her ex husband and not telling me but still keeping me at arms length for whatever reason. I could of swore six weeks ago we were headed towards getting everything back. My confidence in that has dwindled.

HI Brett, I understand how our thoughts can develop certain stories. But remember that getting back together is a process between you and her. So be patient.

Hi Clay, Thanks so much for all your videos. With your help my ex and I are back talking. Only issue is we have only met up once in person and now seems to refuse meeting in person, at the same time the messaging and phone calls have been really good. it feels like she is determined to not let herself develop feelings for me again. Just wondering how to get past this hurdle as I know talking in person is important. Thought it might be a good topic for a video. Again, thank you for all the guidance as It been amazing talking to her again on such a good level and I thought I would never get to this point again.

Take things one step at a time and allow your ex to fully process the progress. Yes, talking in person is important but you have to be mindful of her comfort level as well. Have you checked our Connect and Commit program? That might help you on your journey as well. :-)

You nailed it. If someone doesn't want to talk to you after breaking up, that's their prerogative. No one owes it to you to talk to you after they ended the relationship. Just do your best to move on.

My ex said no more contact for a good while last Monday.. on Thursday she text me, called 5 times wondering when she can get her stuff back (she gave to keep safe while abroad) then I sent her a meme, she laughed. 2 days later, I replied to her story and said something which made her happy.... then next morn I realised she tried to video call me last evening bc i was in hospital and her and her friend wanted to check in... Then talked today as well as a friend of ours father passed away.. She said she loves her boyfriend a lot and has been together since February, said we shouldnt talk as much as we do bc we're exs and thats the only reason and it wont change.... but she still texted me lol so idk

Tuff one clay,, was together 13 years of which the last 6 years I love and raised 2 of her sons kids and when I wouldn't agree to move in and raise 2 more she left, she was going through menopause and had emotionally shut down anyway, 13 years and we hardly ever disagreed and never had bad arguments, just found out she married and dieing man , maybe I didn't really know her at all,, she never let the kids and I see each other again, she thought I would cave in and take more kids to raise but I just couldn't at 55 and with the new way she was acting

You are free do what you want how you want with who you want anytime you want as long as its positive for you enjoy life you only live once there is so much to experience and see get out there and find things create new things that help you occupy yourself and keep busy if you feel down make a plan research a new area hobbies skills keep going knowledge is key you must keep learning it keeps your mind strong and young and healthy and productive.

Hey Clay, I could really use some advice. So we’ve been apart for about 6 months now. She took the last of my stuff with her to her new apartment with her so I had to come and get it. I went and saw her yesterday. She made me dinner and caught a sunset and had a good time. I’d catch her looking at me pretty frequently. She mentioned how she’s essentially giving up on dating because everyone she’s met has been awful. She said a lot of nice things about me and that I was “the right person at the wrong time.” She’s always struggled with depression and mental health, so she has had a hard time understanding her emotions. Just before I left, she told me that she always felt loved looking into my eyes and before I left the door she actually admitted that she wanted a hug. It’s pretty clear to me with everything she’s done that she still loves me and wants to be with me, but isn’t connecting the dots and doesn’t want to acknowledge her feelings. Anyway, I’m pretty sure after last night she’s going to go cold again. We had a pretty good night filled with talk and laughs. What should I do next? How should I move forward if she doesn’t want to talk to me?

Your description sounds like she misses you by her actions, me I would wait 2-3 days tell her she needs to go have a good time what’s her schedule like and take her on a real date 3-4 days or week later , let her know your busy but you will make time and pick her up like a gentleman, and don’t bug her , mirror what she does let her do most of the reaching out you have waited 6 months , don’t bring up the past live in the now , don’t bring up the future, you have to start all over ! The second time around is hard as you already have emotions but it’s worth it , just remember you have changed she probably hasn’t , and heck almost all girls have depression, good luck my Friend

It sounds like your ex may be in the Test Drive phase. Make sure to apply the Advanced Relational skills that you have learned and focus on building connection. if she pulls back, respect her needed time for space to evaluate things. We talk amore about this inside the Ex Solution Program course.

My ex is with a new guy right after break up we been split for almost 3 months.. my son thinks of her as a mother we were together for 6 years..we talk off and on I brought up getting back together a lot because I truly only want her . I can’t get my ex to speak to me said I was mean nasty and destructive.. he won’t even meet up with me. I tried apologizing for things I said. I do wish I hadn’t said the things I said but I don’t regret them was nothing but facts. But I miss him and would love to have a face to face but he’s not having it.. said I’d never see him again. That I violated him and he had never been violated in that way in his whole 51 years before

I felt like it was a forced break up and after our breakup saw her get back with one of her ex's that she wouldn't stop talking about and would make her frustrated. She got angry instantly when i said she was looking for that ex in me and took me as a convenience. She also kept telling me i'd find better and i'm just the first gf of yours and she talks about how she has 6+ ex's and an ex fiance..

Hi Kyle, I'm sorry to hear about that but it seems like there's so much emotional tension that needs to settle down between you and your ex. Maybe once you both have healed from the breakup, the flow of your interaction would be different.

It was rather unfortunate, but it gives me time to reflect on things I ignored about my self etc. Heck just trying to get her, her things is a hassle in itself especially since she went back to her home country. The worst in me definitely got brought out that is for sure. Time and keeping the mind busy is what I should do for now.

Was in relationship 5 years. We split up 18 months ago I never gave up hope of getting back with her I’ve gone into no contact of about 30 days a few times then asked confidently about meeting up for coffee etc in our relationship there was a lot of arguments over silly things she was insecure due to her past but at end of our relationship I end up being the insecure and needy one ! Any ideas ? I feel more confident and understand the relationship is over but she never replies ! I last heard from her 6 months ago when she said maybe sometime about meeting up I got over excited and blew it and haven’t heard from her since and realise now maybe she was testing me to see how I’d react !

Idk know if made a video before but months ago my crush said no to me. N as bummed I was respected her decision n I ok no problem. I thought to myself, at least b friend like previous gf I had, we r still friends n I figured that she was a crush n nothing went any further it would b easier, BUT NO. We share same friends n we live nearby towns so obviously we had seen each other n I’m being friendly nothing weird, I just say hi n smile treating her like I would treat anybody else. But she doesn’t respond back similarly, completely ignoring me making things awkward n upset! I mean what gives?! Any thoughts

My ex literally told me that " we should stop talking this much or else it would seem as if we were dating.." then we met two times where we were all over each other.. he said I was the best thing that could have happened to him etc.. then before meeting again he cancelled.. said he just couldnt give us another chance.. Im in no contact now for 1.5 weeks.. broke it yesterday to call him cause I needed help at work (We have the same job but at different places). He helped me, sounded kinda indifferent. Today he called me to ask how it went and said that I could call him whenever I needed help at work . Sounds great but I think he's at this state of mind where he just wants to be nice.. he doesnt hate me.. but he cannot at all imagine another relationship with me and he just accepts that :/

Clay Andrews hmm yes.. it's really hard to know whether he does the things he does because he is making baby steps towards me or because he just wants to be nice but by still being 150% sure about the breakup:/ he also still has some of his stuff at my place (after 2months) and always has another excuse why he cant pick them up etc.. think he would really want me as his gf, but is afraid of another commitment because of the issues I brought into the relationship:/ well, thanks anyway:)

I don’t speak to liars or cheaters. Why would anyone want to communicate with a Narcissist? I’m confused by these videos. You seem to encourage staying in bad relationships? Why does it appear that way?

I dont want to talk because my ex wont shut up. I dont want to talk because he’s bragging about being a slore. I dont want to talk because his girlfriend is a sllt bucket and he keeps trying to act like she’s not. I dont want to talk because he runs his mouth to much to his obnoxious friends and family. I dont want to talk because he is rude, racist, sexist, and has no respect for mental illness. I dont want to talk because he’s broke. So forth and so on.
